I use Turmeric "Golden Milk" all the time.
My knees are shot (worn out!) and it helps a lot.

Turmeric is anti-inflammatory and helps keeps Hi Blood Pressure in check.

The Golden Milk is 1 tspn Turmeric, pinch of cinnamon, pinch of black pepper heated in a pan.
Add 1 tspn Coconut Oil. STIR WELL.
Then 1 can Coconut milk... STIR WELL.
Heat until just coming to boil...

Add 1 tsp Honey to taste at the end.

Take that for 4 or 5 days and then every 2nd or 3rd day thereafter... works wonders for joint pain etc
But don't take it if you already have low BP or are on BP meds!

It's also very good for depression...

That might be the coolest mug I've ever seen. Although, doesn't seem like it would be real stable on a table. HOWEVER, I'll bet it sits in the center-hole of an old stump by a campfire just fine!

Hey Gman! Turmeric is my current bestie

Celery is also excellent for high BP, but Tumeric is like a cure all preventive .

It is a cool mug for sure! Needs maybe a special cradle? Or in the center hole of an old log by a fire would work great!! I usually just hold onto it till empty, then hook it on one of My horns till I get a re-fill!!! LMAO!!!

Thank you, zazzafrazz! It is a bit like autumn here in my part of the world, also - chilly morning, cold dew on the windshield, leaves falling, and a gray sky. I must admit, I'm really much more of a summer shepherd. Autumn always fills me with a bit of emptiness. I wrote a poem several hundred years ago in school and the last line was "Winter is coming, and I am far from home."

Now that's a vivid image - hanging on the horns. HA!

Well its only 100 degrees here now. I think it was hotter a bit ago. Its supposed to cool down by this weekend though.
Ive got a nice pork roast stuffed with spinach, roasted red bell, and feta cheese, that Im going to barbeque in a few minutes. Trying to keep the heat outdoors. Its kind of nice in here now, cuz I sent all the dragons out in the yard to play

a reply to: PrairieShepherd 6pm Cali time. Be sure and bring some beverages for the dragons and pixies. A few barrels of ale should do.
