Again, the video of a US soldier's guitar solo during Muslim Prayer call in Afghanistan comes to mind (I won't post it because the comments are full of pathetic racism and US nationalist comments celebrating it). No-one stops him, perhaps the muslims there don't mind it.

Watch the video and watch the guy who hit the Muslim. Clearly was looking in the direction from where the other guy came from. So something was going on before the mooslim came into frame!

Indeed, however the video is the only evidence we have, and it comes from the Christian group featured in the video, which is a radical entity. I do not trust the video. No one knows what transpired before this, and no one knows if the victim was Muslim. Is it possible that the victim could have been playing music? Sure, but we didn't hear that in the video, and the group is praying in a public place, so they should expect the unexpected, and the attention.

but, I am finding myself wondering just who the extremist here is though..

I don't see any indication that the man walking towards them is muslim. Was the music we can't hear arabic?? still doesn't mean the guy is a muslim. did he talk with an accent? still doesn't prove anything...
did he whisper alla akbar or whatever? just what is it that gives any definitive proof that the guy is muslim.

there doesn't seem to be any provocation that would warrant such a reaction from any sane person!
and if you notice earlier, a group of kids much louder than the guy that was attacked pass by following their mother, and he turns to watch them as they leave the area also.... kind of makes me wonder, if they had been any color besides white, would he have decked one of the poor kids? matter of fact he keeps looking up the sidewalk to see who is approaching. is he looking for a suitable victim to use to make his point?

I don't hear any indication of any music, although I can hear them praying, which to me kind of indicates that they were louder than his music was. and this group has the stated goal of reclaiming secular france as a catholic nation.... I think he is just upset that some people have the audacity to not treat that little public space that his group picked out as sacred as someone would a church. the guy could have just as easily been playing modern pop, or jazz, or just speaking loud enough to get someone's attention ahead of him on the street and gotten the same response probably.

Even if the guy was drunk and annoying, he still did not deserve being assaulted, especially the way he was. I don't expect anything less from a group advocating the 'sword' over 'peace' though.
