John Wayne Gacy was a neighborhood clown.

Too many sickos out there, I hope they catch them.

There is no proof that the clowns are sinister.

They probably are sinister (they are clowns luring children), but there is no proof of it.

There's no proof of luring anything, anywhere.

you mind trying to explain what you mean by that. It read in the article that they were enticing kids with cash. How is that not luring?

Yeah sure.

There's photos of clowns posing, there's text about clowns enticing kids into the woods,

Photos of clowns and text relating to luring/enticing/abducting children isn't actual proof of anything luring/enticing/abducting children.

Does that make sense?

(According to the deputy, several children from Fleetwood Manor told him several clowns have been appearing in the woods behind one of the buildings and trying to persuade them to enter the woods by waving large amounts of money.)

this is straight from the article, this doesn't sound like a text to me.

Money?

That's odd.

They must not be western. Clowns don't lure with money. lol!

haha several threads here on this!

I think some people are just trying to creep people out dressing that way, and someone overreacts and thinks "OMG they must be trying to get kids!!"

Would a real child predator want to attract attention to themselves dressing like that? Unlikely, they wouldn't want to be noticed

I don't think the paedophiles in this rural community have thought this one through.

Clowns luring children?

They're petrified of clowns...

I heard Sam and Dean were on it. Nothing to worry about.

Awesome, throw in Castiel and we are set.
