Don't look at the headlines, they're a joke, they have been for a long time. Look for the story deep inside, a tiny little byline lost between the car and furniture ads. As far as the TV based news/propaganda stations, ignore them, unless you need a good laugh because they are so far off the mark it's just gotten ridiculous.

Since the goverment changed the law concerning lying in ads and the government's ability to fire off legal propaganda, nothing is worth listening to or reading. It's all BS. You have to go with what you see and whatever stories on the internet you can at least vet to a reasonable extent.

I agree. The 4th estate is dead.We have political mouth pieces now instead of real journalism.

They were married in 2010, five long years before Trump's candidacy.

And he's been caught D-pic'ing since 2011 which also predates President Cheetos.

Yep, those in Hillary's camp have learned tolerance for messing around. Anthony's been D-pic'ing for a mere five years. Bill's been philandering on Hill for thirty, and she doesn't bat an eye.

This was a long time in the making, in fact I'm surprised it took this long for the divorce to happen. That said, this news item won't dominate the headlines for more than 3 days tops - Hillary's emails, pay-for-play politics thru her Foundation will continue to make news since there's criminal elements.

As for Wiener - I loathe him. But if he's listening, run far, far, far away otherwise you'll surely be silenced since you must know things and now you have nothing to lose. With that, I'm adding Anthony Wiener to the dead pool.

ETA: I'm putting $20.00 on plane crash. That seems to be the cleanest method to expire politicians.

I'll put 50 bucks on he goes out in a single vehicle collision. It'll be alleged it was a Muslim that was defending abedin's honour. However, they will actually use an allegedly converted to Islam cia operative and a hacking device on the underside of the vehicle or in the engine compartment. I better get a 1000:1 odds for a trifecta lol

Why would I put this in the rant section when it's not a rant?

What am I ranting about? I'm attempting to put together pieces of the puzzle that clearly don't seem to fit.

I've source those links precisely to drive home my point that this "news story" was used as a political tactic - not because it *just so happened to come out today.*

Even if it's for a moment, it's clear and evident that they're biding time any way they can.

Yawn is right. This Weiner story is nothing compared to Bill leaving his DNA on Monica's blue dress.

Why did we care about that issue either?

It's none of our business. What they are doing with their bits and pieces is not our concern, unless they are breaking a law.

I would tend to disagree on their sexual proclivities not being our business - in Bill's case as President he has certain ethical standards to uphold. Since the President is Commander and Chief and the military has laws against adultery, these other-marital issues anger the rank & file military types. "He runs the military but doesn't have the same standards!?!?!"

As for Weiner & Abedin, he's a NY politician (now failed) where ethics to a smaller scale is at play. Plus she's Hillary's work wife - so that is a big deal. Her right-hand person has suffered one humiliation too many and is dissolving the marriage.

On a lighter note, I'm sure Weiner is glad to be free from the Clinton circus, as it appears he's doing this outlandish stuff on purpose - now he's free to send dick pics to whoever he chooses - if he lives long enough.

What happened to Huma's previous claims that Weiners cheating was the best thing for their marriage and made their complex relationship stronger?

I guess that was just another Huma lie.

Dave that's a fantastic point, and it's EXACTLY why I follow the mainstream news these days.

In my opinion it's a wonderful jumping off point for understanding what the powers that be WANT you to be thinking about at any particular moment.

I've found a lot of usefulness in mainstream media once I've stepped back far enough to question the solidarity of their reporting. Reading what someone wants you to believe from a point of disbelief can often be very telling.

With all this being said, them changing the laws to produce propaganda and misleading articles like these can ALSO be taken as an act of intellectual aggression.

If not for any other reason, how can someone expect to publicly reintroduce clear propaganda campaigns into a society that does not condone that behavior and maintain stability? Based on this, it's clear to me that political agitation of the public these days is done almost entirely by design.

Trump is the one making it front page news. First by telling Huma she's making the right move. (Really? This is his business to comment publicly on?
Then by claiming wiener had access to states secrets and wondering aloud via Twitter who he gave those secrets to.
He's the one who's diverting the attention away from any email issues. But he seems to do that a lot.

What laws were changed and what is misleading about this article?

Seems pretty straight forward to me, a serial man whore got caught again.

Your on, Dave - at those odds too.

If you win, I'll pay up. But then I'll also be leaving the internet for good if that happens.

People in the military cheat and do things in their personal life that we never find out about. We're humans. We are sexual creatures. All of us.

I'm a grown man. I don't care what other grown men and women are doing in their personal lives.

Augustus, I was agreeing with Dave there. I believe he's referring to the "propaganda ban" that was lifted back in 2012 (more precisely, it was framed as the overturning of the Smith-Mundt Modernization Act).

Here's a link from Max Keiser, contrasted by how RT framed the issue:

Keiser On Smith-Mundt Overturning

RT On Overturning Smith-Mundt

Keepin' those darn terrorists at bay, one domestically manipulated opinion at a time!

personally, I respect Huma for showing him da door

shows a huge difference between her and Hillary....Bill has banged everything that moves for years. Yet Hillary stays with him. Weiner was only sending pics.

I would question his judgment, of why a girl that hot wants to sext him, but that's another post

Weiner & Abedin Separating Over Continuous Sexting

So, the terrorist sympathizer who has a major contender candidate's ear is FINALLY dumping her pervert husband?

Has to be news to serve as a distraction.

(and yes, HUMA is a terrorist sympathizer. If you doubt it, look it up for yourself, she was an assistant editor for a Muslim journal at the time, one that criticized the US for its role in 911, and promotes Sharia law, etc. Her mother is STILL the editor of this journal).

Couldn't happen to a nicer Jihadi.....

Even when they're messing around while supposedly doing the work they were elected to do? Like Bill Clinton diddling himself watching Monica diddle herself with a cigar while keeping Arafat waiting in the Rose Garden?

The story is that Monica Lewinsky masturbated with a cigar while President Clinton watched and masturbated as well. Yassir Arafat was supposedly kept waiting in the Rose Garden while this was going on in a room next to the Oval Office.

The President having sex with an intern is definitely up for public scrutiny, just as a congressman having sex with a page boy, or a college professor with a student. Its a question of ethics and brings into question the unbiased relationship these people are supposed to be having with one another, particularly elected officials.

I don't think he's non-American. Even if he WAS born in Kenya (which doesn't seem to be the case), his mother's citizenship would still qualify him.

On the contrary, while I disagree with most of his policies, decisions, and actions, I will give credit that he and his family are a good representational First Family for the nation. I'll give him that. He's a good speaker, and has that coolness vibe Bill had while in office.

But, his constant treasonous acts, skirting of the Constitution, etc. just make my blood boil a bit....
