I'm in no way defending this piece of crap, neither is Augustus..I'm sure you know that.
I don't think anyone here has a problem with this POS getting caught or the irony..I'm not getting that, it's just that in the context of a child being raped.
One can be happy he got caught or be happy when he get's punished..maybe satisfied or relieved would be a better word than happy or love.
But nothing to love here in context of the bigger picture..I totally get vengeance but let's not forget a child was hurt..we are mostly saying the same.
The guy's not convicted yet anyway. I imagine the OP will chime in at some point but obviously he does not love the kid getting hurt part of this.
Some people can be so consumed by hatred, just waiting for their adversary to screw up they forget in their glee to get to punish that there may be little empathy left for victims with deep wounds..the opening could be interpreted that way possibly..right, wrong, or indifferent. I don't think that what the OP had in his heart.
Language, interpretation, and context are interesting things.
