Can't really argue with your original sentiments, though. The only problem with letting nature take its course is of course, the anti vaxxers becoming petri dishes for vaccine resistant strains and causing super bugs. Honestly, we should just give them their own continent to build their own Luddite utopia on,so the rest of us can move on to cool things like space travel and colonization.

It's not just about vaccinations though.

It's about individual rights and freedoms.

I agree with your position on this 100%. If the vaxes are safe, be transparent about the manufacturing and let people choose. The point is that they arent being transparent so they hide behind forced vaxes,

Just because you don't understand how vaccines are made, or virology, or epidemiology doesn't mean it isn't transparent. There are thousands and thousands of global independent studies on vaccines, their effects, and safety available on the internet from reputable sources.

Gary Johnson sold out. I do not know when, or what the reasoning was, but it's true. I knew it as soon as I saw him and Welder running around praising Hillary in their town halls. That makes absolutely no sense to me.

I voted for Gary. I donated to Gary. I had the opportunity to meet and speak with Gary.

Gary pulled the old Bernie Sanders trick on me and sold me out.

Complete Title: Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson just sold out to Big Pharma...says children should be forcibly injected with mercury at gunpoint... claims government 'science' overrides medical freedom

So much for an 'alternative' candidate. When you run as a Libertarian you should be about freedom not Government and Big Pharma. I am thoroughly disgusted with Johnson. For someone who loves freedom he sure comes down on the wrong side of a bunch of issues. I think this guy is owned by big money just like Hilary. Once again I am forced to vote for Trump. Ugh.

Wow, the 2016 Presidential race is getting more bizarre by the day, it seems, and the latest example of people wandering off into la la land is found in libertarian party candidate Gary Johnson. He just announced that whatever chemicals and viral strains the corrupt, scientifically incompetent federal government decides should be injected into your children must be obediently accepted by parents or they should face arrest, imprisonment or gunpoint enforcement.

Gary Johnson, in other words, has just had official immunization science "splained" to him and has now surrendered the entire idea of liberty upon which the libertarian party was founded. Suddenly, your human rights -- medical choice rights -- are no longer considered inalienable by Gary Johnson, who believes that people should be forced against their will to be injected with toxic substances linked to comas, seizures, autism, cancer, neurological disorders, paralyzation and even death.

Source

Ummmm.... your source is ridiculously biased. Oh wait, you believe the rubbish about vaccinations being some kind of government plot. Never mind!

Meh, my vote is still going to Johnson.

I personally don't agree with mandatory vaccinations but his opinion on the matter doesn't deter my vote.

If you listen to the sound clips Johnson sounds as goofy as he ever does. He really has no idea what he's talking about, but he is learning. Gradually.

Otherwise, not all children will be immune even though they receive a vaccine.

Say what?
*sigh*

It's not something he'll be bothered with. It's a state issue. That was his answer, the correct answer for the question.

To be fair, the Libertarian Party supports free trade. It's right there in the party platform.

Free trade should not be considered synonymous with trade agreements like TPP.

My point is most of these illegal immigrants are carrying diseases that naturalized Americans don't get. I.e. Tuberculosis. I bet you would never make a thread saying that immigrants need to be forcefully vaccinated against there will.

Why vote at all? As Drumpf says, it's rigged.

Why didn't you quote what the man said?

Instead, you quoted a hack pseudo-science website that is well known for being liars. You would need to be partially brain-dead to believe their stories.

So your choices are

Your kids get Vaccinated against your will Vs. Your kids get killed in WW3 which will have elements of a Holy War, against your will.

Maybe I'll give my kids the same vaccines I got. Maybe it's not so bad to avoid sickness.

Now don't get me wrong I am not against immunization but
Those not immunized will get sick and die
They have made a choice, what is that to you.
If you are immunized you are protected, what is it to you

Immunizations only work if a large enough segment of the population is immunized that a disease can't get enough of a foothold to mutate and get around immunizations. It's like building a wall on the border, if you let a bunch of would be immigrants sit on the border long enough, they're going to find a way through it.

I was just going to read and move along until you said this....

If other people choose not to look after their childrens' health - am I supposed to try to stop them? They will continue to do stupid and irresponsible things, and apparently it's a stupid and irresponsible thing for me to try to educate them and stop them allowing their children to be vulnerable to plagues......

Parents that don't vaccinate are looking after the health and well being of their children. They go as far as to understand the illnesses that their babies will be exposed to, and take the necessary measures to boost a child's immune response if they are exposed. I find the parents of un-vaccinated children to be better informed, and their children to be healthier.

A lot of parents out there are taking the job of parenting seriously by letting their child's immune system develop naturally and not be high jacked by a fear mongering corporate entity. Having a sick child can be scary, so that's why parents immerse themselves in the subject in order to get their children through it. Most parents that vaccinate don't even take the time to understand the illnesses that they are vaccinating for, nor the ingredients in that vaccine.

I had all the childhood illnesses, my children had all the childhood illnesses and my grand-babies will have all the childhood illnesses. We just went through a case of mumps. It lasted less than three days and was less traumatic than a head cold. He now has life long immunity and won't ever have to worry about catching mumps as an adult when it can do the most harm.

I'm older than most here and remember the days when parents weren't terrorized by the medical establishment.

Once you give the government the authority to mandate what your child should get, then you have given up all rights to determine.

You are just trusting that the government is never wrong.

Since you want government to mandate this, then you must have complete trust that the government is never wrong.

And making your own choice is trusting that you are never wrong. Who is more likely to be right? A government which funds thousands of studies, looks at the results, makes a decision, consults with experts, and looks at historical correlations. Or an individual that reads at the most a couple papers and someones opinion on the subject?

Using your argument, should we be trusted to do anything then?

Perhaps we should give up every right we have in order for government to take care of us.

Why do we even have rights if we're going to conclude that government is always smarter than any individual?

When one feels the need to assert that they know what they are talking about in all capital letters, one has lost.

I think that vaccinations are the only product out there that works if everyone uses it. Doesn't make sense to me, but hey, I'm just one of the dumb masses that needs to be nannied through life.
