After just learning about Steve Hughes the other day from a thread here, and now this Doug Stanhope thread, I've get entirely too much comedy to watch/catch up on lol.

Thanks for posting it. As I heard a long time ago, court jesters way back in the day were the only person in the kingdom that could criticize the king or his policies without losing their head. That still holds true today, at least for now.

I've had to self-censor myself here on ATS knowing full well some of the things I want to say wouldn't be protected by my "freedom of speech" - because freedom doesn't extend to saying things against the establishment.

But if it's a joke, you can still get away with it.
