This is a battle against the Progressive Left. Those who are leaving the GOP were never Republicans. They were paid lackeys of the US government. He told his son that this election would be when "enemies would be revealed and we will learn who are friends are".

How do those numbers in any match this race? Are you just saying polling numbers change? Yes they do, in particular in the middle of a US economic crisis and the Iran hostage crisis.

And lets look at what the candidates are doing. Having secured the Blue states, gained good leads in the battle ground states, Clinton has been courting moderate and women GOP voters. That effort has given a lead in Georgia, and a good shot at Arizona and other red states.

What is Trump doing? Playing to the same group of core supporters. No attempt to keep the Republicans fleeing to Clinton or Johnson. No attempt to win over moderate voters. No attempt to win over educated voters, no attempt to win over women voters, no attempt to win over minority voters. Instead he prefers to spend a week fighting with the GOP or claiming Obama founded ISIS then saying he was being sarcastic. How does any of that make any sense for somebody trying to win an election?

The first thing Trump needs to do is stop the flow of Republicans leaving him. That will at least stop Clinton's numbers from growing. Then he needs a plan to regain the Republicans who have already left him. Then he needs to some how get women and minorities in battle ground states to join him. And he needs to this before early voting starts in a little over a month. Not something that was around during the 1980's.

Does Trump have a plan? When is he going to activate it? Is all his, maybe I will lose talk just an act? What happened to the Trump reboot, when he sounded like somebody who wanted to show he could be President? Just what is Trump doing to win this election?

Because it's easier for some people to believe in a trumped-up (no pun intended) media conspiracy than it is to believe Trump needs to be a bit smarter about what he says.

Clinton uses Trump to her advantage. Since he is always saying something crazy or just an outright lie of course he gets lots of front page media coverage. That is how he has ran his entire campaign, on the theory that any publicity is good publicity.

Clinton's uses a tactic that takes advantage of that. While Trump is making national news spending several days responding the backing away from whatever crazy things he has said Clinton does almost never responds or comments on it. She avoids the national news people that travel with her and has news conferences with local news. Local news tends to ask about the factory or school she visited and not about Trump. So Trump playing up to national media has headlines in every paper with Trump said this crazy thing in the local papers in battle ground states that Trump headline in followed by Clinton latest visit and plan for new jobs or better education or whatever the message of the day is. The DNC calls it, let Trump be Trump.

The question you have to ask is why does Trump keep doing it? Is he unable to control himself? Does he just not understand? Is he doing it on purpose? You tell me why would he hurt himself over and over? It makes no sense. An reveals a real problem with the man.

I I know that's why I laughed when I read the article he has been to Trump rallies and has endorsed him. But somehow huffpo got a diffrent story very starnge.
