If you read the OP, it also said CNN couldn't verify. Thus the...OP.

" NY Daily news? National Inquirer connected Cruz's father to the JFK assignation. Did you believe that too?"

So since ATS has included a clause about using known hoax sites as sources or trying to pass off their stories here can we do ally ban CNN sources from ATS. I think we would all be better off...while we are at it lets go ahead and ban the rest of the MSM sites posting lies. I never understood how a site with the motto deny ignorance could allow such blaten propaganda spewing sites in the first place.

Not even a gun owner SHOULD be ignorant enough to vote for Trump! My gosh people, give it up, the man is poison! Too many main supporters have realized he is unfit for presidency and backed out! Wake up!!!!!!!

I love the fact the NewYork daily news said Donald Trump needs to end his campaign, and "This Isn't A Joke Anymore" LMAO

NY Daily news? National Inquirer connected Cruz's father to the JFK assignation. Did you believe that too?

Uh, the Daily News DID state that, so yes I believe it, it was front page Wednesday. What the hell does that have to do with the the inquirer? Two completely different publications

The New York Daily News front page Wednesday.... Donald Trump needs too quit the race "this isn't a joke anymore",

Isn't New York the Trumps home, I hope that paper was at his doorstep first thing in the AM when he woke up!

How bout twisted news with so much spin it can only be described as furthering the agenda of those in control of the company? How about dishonesty until the truth fits your agenda? I really feel like the MSM news outlets in general are dishonest more than honest. Would you rather deny ignorance or wallow in it?

What is boils down to is that Trump is a liar and I'd bet my last dollar the SS did indeed chat with home about his childish comment. The SS visits people who post threats on FB so why is so hard to believe that they had a convo with Trump?

Trump is coming up on Fox, supposedly to talk about the 2nd amendment propaganda.
It will be interesting to hear if he mentions the subject of this OP.

Has anyone ever been to CNN headquarters? Is it like a fortress? One would think so, because they're messing with the WRONG groups of people. These aren't your touch-feely "Oprah University" liberals who are backing Donald Trump and what he wants to accomplish.

hah! Fox is bringing up Hillary's threat against Obama in 2008.
This was discussed in another thread on here.
But - they remember!

Considering Mr. Trump's Numerous Controversial Comments since he Decided to Run for President , I am Sure ANYTHING he says can be of a Concern to Some . Question is , Only Mr. Trump is Aware of what he was Trying to say or Imply there , Not the Interpreters who somehow are Sure they know what he Meant .

Since Obama is the top-dog over the FBI and he's in the tank for Hillary, it's not hard to believe that he asked the Secret Service to have a chat with Donald. I think they're with him all the time anyway. It's no big thing if they did. That's how Presidents-2-be learn the ropes.

Gosh. that's not what the linked story in the OP says at all. In fact, it said the oppposite... in the first line.

(CNN)A US Secret Service official confirms to CNN that the USSS has spoken to the Trump campaign regarding his Second Amendment comments. "There has been more than one conversation" on the topic, the official told CNN. But it's unclear at what level in the campaign structure the conversations occurred. The campaign told the USSS that Donald Trump did not intend to incite violence, according to the official.

Now you've gone and completely mistated the facts which is rather ironic considering the topic and your comments. The next line of that same story acknowledges that Trump denies that such a conversation took place:

"No such meeting or conversation ever happened," Trump tweeted in response to CNN's report.

Afaik, Jim Sciutto's journalistic integrity has never been called into question. He's been a journalist for something like 20 years and he's won several major awards.

On the other hand, there's Donald Trump (here's a list of 101 of his biggest bald faced lies this campaign) and his campaign who also denied that Melania Trump plagiarized Michelle Obama's speech for what? Two days before the speech writer came out and threw herself under the bus?

They (Hope Hicks in this case followed by the whole squad of surrogates) also denied that recent CNN hire and former Trump campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, had been arrested for simple battery following the complaint filed by Michelle Fields. The Juniper PD issued a statement saying that he had in fact been arrested. Corey Lewandowski also said he'd never touched Michelle Fields and of course, the video showed him ... touching Michelle Fields.

So yeah, I'll give Jim Sciutto the benefit of the doubt even though CNN has started putting professional liars like Corey Lewandowski and Kayleigh McEnany on their payroll.

I will slightly agree with you but there are other threads discussing what was/wasn't said.

The article from the beginning to end is propaganda and it comes from a source that a good portion of Americans would blindly trust.

That's not really the point though is it? it's about media standards that are at an all time high of being low across the board, of which a good portion of Americans may listen to, while I hesitate as to 'blindly trust' So the thrust is really in what the politicos from any source are saying, and they are in their own camp on this and that is frankly ridiculous for the likes of ex NY mayor Guiliani to come out and say that it was just intended for people not to vote for Hilary, as it is for media to imply that the FBI have had a word in the Donald's ear over his remarks per se, while it could be that the FBI have spoken to him in the way he should address the element of the constitution, 2nd amendment whatever, that can give license to what ever they broadcast or print.
Do you not see how ordinary plebs can be stuffed when trying to pick through the rubbish, they all do fake, doesn't mean that people don't know
Here though, Trumps words are not made up, they came out of his lips, and IHMO he cocked up badly in a Presidential race where frankly I think most people are just thinking , Oh! ffs.

Just look at how many posters there have been on ATS saying bring it on in this election, Hilary or Trump just for the laughs, that's not really for the laughs, it's desperation.

Since we forget so easily...

A friendly reminder. The Smith-Mundt Act is still repealed.

TPTB made it legal for the US government to use propaganda (AKA LIES) on the US public for their own purposes.

Why this isn't mentioned as a part of *EVERY* thread and *EVERY* news report is beyond me.

It is *LEGAL* for the government to make use of the MSM to spread LIES to the people in order to further their agenda.

Also, IMO, Rush Limbaugh scans over ATS every morning. That's why it's important to make thread topics highly specific. He mentions items that show up here, but are not on the front page of major media sites in the morning.

It doesn't really matter. The Trump supporters are simply trying to popularize this nonsense to get the focus off of Donald Trump's one-thousandth stupid comment this year. Whatever begruding respect I had for Donald Trump as a manipulator of morons has completely evaporated as it's become painfully obvious that it's not just a persona, it's not some act he can just quit — the man is a loudmouth buffoon who can't control himself — there's no "other" more "presidential" Trump.

Correct me if im wrong, but isnt the language of the 2nd Amendment itself calling for citizens to violently rise up against an oppressive government?

I believe thats THE ENTIRE POINT.

How do we blame Trump for that?

Your forgot :

The Secret Service's communications director Cathy Milhoan has not confirmed the conversations between the campaign and the Secret Service, but said in a statement Tuesday that "the U.S. Secret Service is aware of Mr. Trump's comments."

So, who then is the official?
