It is hard to know where the other voters are at.
I don't see hispanics, blacks nor do I work in the government sector. Nor do I date single moms. Thus it is unlikely I will meet a hillary supporter. I think this may apply to quite a few people here at ATS.

Jeb Bush oversaw the election in Florida back in 2000 and we all know how that turned out.

Remember peasants, Presidents are selected not elected.

How sour of you Trumpers.

This election is amazing.

To see a narcissist like Trump get battered is just golden.

"But Hillary..."... That lost its edge about a year ago.

I overhear conversations from other people- people I'd generally consider to be intelligent and well informed... talking about how they're going to vote for clinton because trump scares them.

They're scared of the impulsive businessman, but not the devious well connected murderer from the underground super wealthy sociopathic new world order party.

She hides her evil deeds well enough that the average person just doesn't see them, I guess.

I don't think the skeezy businessman is a good choice, but she is terrifying.

For those who like to analyze data, you can review the information that was released back in JUne concerning the Sanders-Clinton primaries...

Odds Hillary Won Without Widespread Fraud: 1 in 77 Billion Says Berkeley, Stanford Studies

After applying various statistical models to subsets of 2016 primary voting data several academic researchers conclude Hillary Clinton’s win was only possible through widespread vote fraud.

Here's the link to the pdf of the 4 page report:

drive.google.com...

Here's snopes take on this research paper, where their currently are calling this a mixture:

www.snopes.com...

A clip of a couple of ballot monitors in San Diego this past Jun:

Add in the shady dealings with the NYC voter purge that prevented thousands from being able to cast their vote, I don't care what point of the political spectrum you sit on, we should all be very concerned and demand that these concerns be addressed and corrected...

This is nothing new, but it just seems that the two party divide, is using the voters themselves to shout down anyone who brings up information that deserves a more serious investigation...

Election Fraud

This is bigger than party, this gets to the very heart of our nations founding... I guess I am saying that all eligible voters in the US should be outraged and demand that our government take the necessary steps to hold honest elections, hopefully with a fair shake for those who represent parties other than the tired Top Two...

YMMV.

Given what we know & understand about the political system, politicians and the media...

All that has been proven is that Hillary Nixon is simply a "better" politician than Trump.

She's built a comfortable house of corruption and invited all of her closest friends of whom hold all the right positions throughout society to ensure her successful coronation.

No no and actually all your questions get answered no.

Where did Obama say he would oversee the election and what could that possibly mean?
I heard him say he gets one vote just like the rest of us. I heard him laugh at the thought that the elections could be rigged considering the thousands of volunteers from all walks of life who work for the election board during elections and how it's impossible to get a room full of people to agree on one thing never mind thousands of people.

I don't know how much they will actually fix it. I think they are using the polls to influence opinion.

Anyone remember the Michigan Democrat primary? Hillary was up in the polls by 20% and Sanders got her by 1.5%. Polls only miss that much by either rigging or the polls were solely being used to influence opinion. 20 points was to give sanders supporters the feeling of inevitability and thus stay home.

Obama said that his administration may "oversee the election", for the first time in U.S. history?

Can someone tell me what that means? There are something like 9000 voting districts/jurisdictions in the US. Our County Clerk oversees our elections. However in the world is the Obama Administration going to oversee the election?

He's not. That's the very reason elections cannot be rigged.
Voter fraud is something else but even that could not effect the outcome of an election in any significant way. It would take a powerful cabal to get enough people to commit fraud to effect an election. The more people a plan needs to be executed the bigger the chance of a leak.

Just for the record, political polls are always used to influence public opinion. Always.

No I don't remember that. Must have been one of those early I hate Hillary threads that made that claim.
There was no rigging of any primary.
Find even one court case where a jurisdiction is being charged with rigging an election or even one candidate who claims that. ( except juvenile acting conspiracy minded trump who just doesn't have the capacity to understand how this works. )

So that whistle blower who said electronic voting machines were rigged was lying? I'm 100% neutral and don't like trump or hillary but you can clearly see the news is setting hillary up to be elected. It's almost looks scripted and these 2 people have no business running for president.

I don't think it was rigging, the rigging would have been pro-bernie.
I think the polls were creating a narrative to get michigan sanders supporters to stay home.
What are you getting at?

Trump fixed it by alienating women, minorities, Jews, and moderate Republicans. Trump has a solid right wing base but most of the electorate are moderates and can easily see thru Trumps BS.

We can also add he lacks substance to his plans, his lack of knowledge concerning foreign policies and how government runs, communicates poorly and displays juvenile temperament when criticized.

I'm sure his kids cringe every time he says something idiotic. He has nobody to blame but himself.

That's just it. They both lie, they both cheat, they both have very high disapproval numbers, and rightly so. They pretty much even out on corruption, so voters' decisions come down to policy, knowledge, temperament, emotional stability, intelligence and experience, And in my opinion, there's no contest. None. No comparison.

Not really man...

What I hear on the street coincides pretty well with the polls. Most people think Trump is a lunatic.

Most people I interact with were Bernie supporters. Although 80% of them hate Hillary..

I'm pretty sure they're desensitized now and gotten over it and will vote Hillary to keep trump out.

My guess would be the average person doesn't care about her evil deeds. They fully expect that anyone who's sufficiently ambitious and successful to want to run for POTUS has already committed evil deeds and will continue to commit evil deeds. In a sense, I'd guess the average voter thinks being able to cover up and escape the consequences of the evil deeds is what qualifies them to be POTUS.

Yeah, I don't hate Hillary, I just think there are many better options... Or at least options I could feel better about voting for. I don't feel good about voting for Hillary, and I think a lot of Bernie supporters feel that way, but we will do it, rather than lose to Trump by voting our conscience or staying home. Sad thing is, Bernie would have easily beat Trump.

I think Bernie should have won the nom, and would have won, if the Democratic party wasn't so corrupt (not that the Republican party isn't - I think it's worse, actually. They may still have a few tricks up their sleeves for this election.)

Polls are not fixed, just cleverly crafted and devious.

For example if I ask three people if they like ox tail soup and one person says yes then I can extrapolate and say that 33% of the population likes ox tail soup.

That's how polls work-the press get the votes of a few and convince readers and viewers that is the opinion of a whole nation. It's deceitful and should not be a litmus test for an entire nation.
