Trying to learn about Manly P Hall

In the quote below Offical Mason Manly (has a nice ring to it)
he is speaking for himself ?
To clarify it is his opinion ?
not that of Masons

" He must follow in the footsteps of his forefather, Tubal-Cain, who with the mighty strength of the war god hammered his sword into a plowshare." [Manly P. Hall, 33rd Degree, K.T., The Lost Keys of Freemasonry or The Secret of Hiram Abiff , Forward by Reynold E. Blight. "

That Masons revere Tubal Cain is merely your opinion, not ours. Neither Hall nor the blog has authority to dictate Masonic policy, that is left to each Grand Lodge.

This is true ?
Manly P. Hall is only speaking for himself ?

Further, from a site responding to the slanderous accusations of a particular website and written by a Mason, after Tubal-Cain's mention by Hall that the Mason should emulate his forefather Tubal-Cain (written in 1923, or published in) while the Mason refutes several erroneous accusations by the anti Mason

Source is [Manly P. Hall, 33rd Degree, K.T., The Lost Keys of Freemasonry or The Secret of Hiram
i take it ?

You're trying (badly) to make connections where there are none.

Manly P. Hall as a Mason appears to make them
but is he just speaking for himself ?

from another thread
www.abovetopsecret.com...

When I say 'made them up' it was without any inside knowledge of Masonry, its rituals or symbolism. He wrote his own opinions which were not based on any type of real world interaction.
- Gaius Octavius

" it was without any inside knowledge of Masonry "
Tubal Cain being one of them ?
Manly P. Hall as a Mason is not a reliable source ?
What reason is there to doubt his credibilty ?
if there is any ?

Thank you in advance for any light and clarity
you can shed on it , my apologies to those that have done this before

Didn't Hall write this book in the early 1920''s and didn't even join Freemasonry until the mid 50's? How can a non Mason's work/belief close to 30 years before he even joined be used as solid evidence for anything let alone a blanket statement like "Why is Tubal Cain revered by Masons"?

Good question.

Seems as long as it appeals to your agenda you can listen to anyone whether they have experience with the topic or not.

Well you do mention him 1 time which is all the evidence I need that Freemason's hold Cain in high regard. I did hear that when a Freemason is on trail all he has to do is say the word "tubal cain" and he get's off scot-free.

I wanted

not that of Masons

a blanket statement like "Why is Tubal Cain revered by Masons"?

It is.
the confusion for others is why he mentions it i guess
and calling the book The Lost Keys of Freemasonry didnt help
for me it is if any other people within Masonry agreed with
what he previously wrote.
I like what he wrote about Tubal Cain
seeing if others did within Masonry
is a natural question for me

listen to anyone whether they have experience with the topic or not

That's why i asked the questions here
i hoped you might
