Thanks, so that explains why it seemed like the Bernie supporters got it. In 4 years Bernie may be too old, like Ronny, they will probably just spin his age into the smearing.

So far both conventions look like a joke though. They seem more like a pop concert or carnival to me than anything even remotely connected to serious politics and decision making.

They've always been like this. I mentioned it to my pops one time and he told me back in the day some of the conventions were even more bombastic and ridiculous than they are now.

Why is this guy not talking about ALL rights? Why the identity politics. Not good.

This is kind of rotten of me, but George Jefferson used to start his often recited speech on his own *ahem* humble beginnings with, "I was born the son of a sharecropper..," too.
