Are the people concerned with honesty in political speech the same ones concerned with honesty from say a Secretary of State?

Have you found one of your positive, even slightly positive, comments yet from this thread?

No. I'm not a dog and I don't do tricks. If you desire such a thing, go find it yourself.

You asking for such a thing is another red herring. It has nothing to do with the topic.

Consider yourself called out and proven to be biased. As I said, your opinion carries no weight at all due to your inability to be objective on this subject.

Perhaps you should set aside your political bias and just give her credit. To be fair to most of the pundits, that's what they did.

I have not said anything on this issue to give the appearance of a bias. All I said is that if this was someone on the Left, the right would be in an uproar.

It would probably be creeping towards making the front page of ATS and even one of the main headlines on Drudge Report.

Bias takes many forms, including the things one does not say. I am yet to hear a rounded and balanced assessment from anyone on this thread not supportive of Trump and his campaign. When that is the case it undermines everything else one could say, even if true.

That is illogical nonsense. I know you are biased in your politics, but you could at least not try to insult our intelligence with that sort of garbage.

Please link a single post you have made in this thread that is even slightly positive about anything that happened at last nights convention. I will wait.

What does positivity have to do with it?

You're not making much sense.

Nope, just a single even slightly positive comment from your entire post history on this thread, please. Simple request. For the avoidance of doubt I am saying you are biased and therefore your opinion on this matter is completely worthless. I await your example from your over 50 posts since on this thread alone...

Have to go after me since your logic train derailed on the topic?

The words Melania used were so general, and are often used in the context in which they were intended, and were not exact quotes, that I don't see how this nonsense continues.

Everyone must realize that the Clinton campaign had entire staffs poring over every word in every speech just TRYING to find something to distract from the damage done to Hillary last night. They are trying to take the headlines away from the true message last night.

Of course I'm biased. That has never been in doubt or part of the topic.

You are trying to divert attention from your illogical position and your own bias'.

It's quite hilarious to see you shift and spin.

Upset? I'm having a good laugh. It's comical how this conversation evolved and how you shifted focus from the topic to me.

You need to get a grip on your emotions and address the topic.

They WERE exact quotes, though... That's the issue. There's a difference between paraphrasing and plagiarism.

haha, exactly. As i said the attacks are very thin and desperate these days.

My favourite line from last night was..

'I blame Hillary Clinton personally for the death of my son' ... millions heard it.

Oh, I see a new poll out this morning Trump 43, Clinton 42.

Here is the full speech again... it's going viral

I find it funny you of all people pointing out any kind of dishonesty. Keep on pointing it out. Plagiarism vs Perjury see how that national discussion goes for you.

At least Melania didn't feel proud to be American for the first time in her adult life.

She doesn't sound like an American.

My favorite example of ignorant Liberal hypocrisy from last night's discussion about Melania Trump.

OK. Then he plagiarized his speech in high school.

See how I quickly admitted that and didn't defend him and make excuses for his plagiarizing?

It wasn't High School.

It was Law School.

That was just the beginning.
He has a history of not only plagiarism, but lying about his past.... making stories up that are not true.

So, should he be our Vice President?
If you don't have a problem with him being a serial plagiarizer and liar, why do you have a problem with the wife of a potential candidate plagiarizing ONCE?

There has been a whole slew of social media hate from liberals calling her an immigrant bitch with an accent. On this thread she was subjected to demeaning and sexist comments too. This whole process is showing the world where the real hate lies. The veil of the left is being lifted and they are being exposed to millions around the world.

I wouldn't be too sure. They have done this a lot and we always think the veil the lifting and everyone will see them for what they are.

Remember how ugly it got over Palin's baby?

I see a lot more desperation. They always relied on political correctness to brow beat people in arguments and keep their hypocrisy hidden. It's changing. Last night was a complete expose on leftist politics, unfiltered. The liberal media were powerless to stop it.
