However, I have no doubt you will keep your death grip on your perspective for the foreseeable future. We shall all see how that works out for you.

there you go again - you can't help yourself - gloating in a non-believers possible demise. You are special.

Have you any scientific evidence God doesn't exist or are you just going by your beliefs, faith in atheism

When science gets thrown back at you, you cry foul, now you're doing the same thing....hehehe

Well, we are destroying his creation, not for need, but for wants. Most of the damage to our ecosystem is caused by wasting and by our wants.

So why should he be helping us when we are destroying this Garden of Eden, a very rare thing in this galaxy?

We were warned yet we persist in our ignorance of caring for this planet. Mankind does have the ability to destroy the planets ability to provide for us. Then all we will have is reliance on Monsatan type companies to supply us with foods at a high price. Foods that make us sicker and sicker.

You are basically placing your faith on what men know and have observed and their interpretation of it.

Aren't these the same men you place your faith in? They were the same men who wrote your holy books

I think this is part of the plan.
Who will remain steadfast until the end? Many won't be able to.

pretty darwinian survival of the fittest "plan" hehehe

the planet is fine... WE are screwed. did god abandon us? nah, we abandoned ourselves. but thats okay, 99.999% of every species that has ever existed on this world are all extinct. probability says we will be going the same way eventually. no way around it. and the earth will go on turning and orbiting the sun...

Well.. since any response we give is based on our BELIEF or FEELING, and every human is equal, there can be no definitive answer to your question, unless GOD chimes in to this thread.

Is it? I have seldom heard religious people ask this question. Most of them believe their religion has a copyright on "god".

That's what they say, but I think every religious person has expressed the following, at some point in their life.

And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

I honestly believe that most "displays of faith" are actually rooted in a "lack of faith" and that the religious over compensate for their doubt by trying to do things for God, because they don't really believe "God" is really there. If they truly trusted their God, they wouldn't need to interfere in the lives of others, make excuses for their god like "It's not God's fault...", or require people to attend church services to explain to the masses what God really meant when HE wrote his book.

No he has not abandoned us though we feel that way and so did Jesus on the Cross "My God My God Why have you forsaken me", he has not abandoned us and Jesus not only got up from death (I am a christian obviously) but he actually also returned to God and is now our God, he is the the high priest between us and his father and he is also the sacrifice for our sins (If we truly are repentant but there is no free meal ticket - except for those that he chooses regardless of what they have done as is his right) and he is also our Judge, He knew what it was like to feel abandoned and alone with all the world hating him in those final hour's so HE has not abandoned us.

The fact you are searching is actually an indication that perhaps you have heard a call, God bless you and your family and keep you safe, do not fear the shadow men of your own reflection or illusion's cast by those that want you to lose any chance of faith.

Your experience is like many other's that I have heard of and is a darkness or a vile spirit demon or devil trying to cause you to fall back into unbelief and doubt, you are trying to escape but one of the wolves is trying to herd you back to were they can prey upon you think about it like that, as for this spirit it shall shortly get it's comeuppance so don't fret too much about such a ghastly entity.

Lastly do not take any credence of this event and do not let it affect you for this reason, it can harm your sanity to dwell too much on it and you are living in THIS world at the moment, think about it like a bad telephone call from a far off place were some strange foreigner is trying to con you and treat it as such, so simply ignore it but if you really want to take something from it then see it as a liar and no that the exact opposite of what it seemed to say is the real truth.

I believe there is a "God", but not one anchored by some specific religion or doctrine. I don't even know exactly what "God" might be. I think "God" has nothing to do with the day to day goings on in any person's life, or the world in general. "God" is out making new planets and new life, still trying to create a new and improved model of intelligent life.

What I do not believe is that "God" created everything in the universe just to make one planet with humans and then sit back and enjoy being worshiped, contently thinking, "Nailed It" while randomly choosing to help this person or that person based on some holy scorecard of prayers.

So no, not abandoned, just but better things to do.

From my point of view.

If we assume that Yeshua was a person with energetic body awareness that could feel a love vibration from somewhere else and had his body caressed by spiritual energy after a fear amagydala overload.

Then

My God My God Why have you forsaken me

Can have a biological answer to why Yeshua though he was abandoned while not being it.

The body exhaustion made Yeshuas nerves not able to feel/process the flow anymore even if it never left. Yeshua:s words make perfect sense by the sudden loss of feeling/sensing the divine thru tactile stimulation.

In order to be abandoned ( like how returning soldiers are abandoned by the country they were under the impression cared about them), you have to have had a previous relationship with the abandoner.

Since our "knowledge" of "God" comes from books written by men with malevolent intentions they are not worthy of being considered information on God.

But anyone who is familiar with the most evil literary invention ever, called Yahweh or incorrectly "the lord" would have absolutely no problem believing this character would abandon us.

The only "God" is the invisible, unknown and incomprehensible originator of life.

When (hypothetically speaking) we are abandoned by said entity we will not exist.

depends on what your definition of "abandon" is.

We are living in just 1 of many lifetimes. Death and Dying...leaving to die, killing, murder is not necessarily "abandoning" so to say. This "god" gives us many chances (lifetimes) to right our wrongs and become "enlightened".

He/It/she is not there to make sure we don't get hurt, killed, etc. It doesn't care, we will be reborn. It, this god, just wants us to do the right thing, in the here and now, live in the moment, be happy.

Being a Christian I guess is one way to attain this...however, this religion was ruined a long time ago.

Grieving is

NOT

the same as gloating.

Perhaps you need a new dictionary.

And the slam was not that clever.
