From what I can tell, 3 LEOs dead, 3 injured. Shooter is Gavin Eugene Long according to CBS, apparently ex-Marine, honorable discharge, clean record. Of course, he's being connected to BLM, Black Panthers, Nation of Islam, etc. by some here, as usual.

Has any solid evidence been provided that suggest she was a part of any of those groups? Hate to keep asking, but it can be hard to wade through the thread to find all the pieces.

Listen to his "Level Up Your Life" album (see my last post for a couple). From what I'm hearing so far it sounds like a good message a lot of black kids could benefit from.... but the words become extra chilling now in hindsight.

Police officer 'leaves behind four children'

The third police officer who was shot dead in Baton Rouge on Sunday morning has been named in US media as Brad Garafola.

He was an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's deputy, WBRZ reported.

Brad's brother, Brett, posted a message on Facebook late on Sunday, saying his brother "leaves his wife and 4 kids behind in which he loved so much".

"Brad, I love you very much my brother. I respect and appreciate everything you did for us, this city, and your job to protect and serve," he wrote.

Did I misspeak? The evidence is right above us; I did not.

And as far as "jerking the thread off track" ... the important issue here is to CONDEMN POLITICAL VIOLENCE, not justify it for some and damn it in others ... at least, in my opinion.

In this video he sounds like a Sovereign Citizen-type of guy. Anti-government, etc.

I've read up real quickly and I have not seen him mention anything about BLM or any other group. But he does talk like someone within the Sovereign Citizen state of mind or an anti-government libertarian.
