Kind of sad that you do not even understand the function of the Constitution. It is not there to tell the private citizen what is right or wrong, it is there to limit the power and scope of government which includes the ability of the citizen to peaceably assemble and freely associate.

I think you should educate yourself on the topic as you are woefully ignorant when it comes to our rights as citizens.

im no asking for a resolution to anything. and in todays day and age, theres too much to worry about. i am scared for myself, this country and my children. we live in a time where mass shootings are occuring regularly. we live in a time where law enforcement and our politicians are corrupt and have hidden agendas. should i be scared?

where i live, one of our biggest events was last weekend. and BLM decided to do a protest. did i bother going to the event? nope... why? because after seeing protests turn violent over the course of the last year, i am not going to be a statistic.

and for everyone else posting on this thread... if you see nothing wrong with a racist hate group blocking traffic and emergency vehicles from moving around.... and your only reason is because the constitution says they can, then you are part of the problem with america turning into a toilet of ignorance and hate.

No, actually you do not if you think it is a list of 'rights and wrongs'.

The purpose of blocking a street, intersection anything is to get media attention.

MLK did that a bunch of times during the civil rights movement.

In this day and age, our media won't show us anything unless they absolutely have to. When a street or bridge or whatever is blocked at least it forces local media coverage of protest or marches.

A protest in a park or a field no matter how large, even if it's millions of people won't be reported in the news. Because our corporate overlords don't want that.

BLM is a racist hate group, and I can't stand them, but right now they are about the same as the westborough babtist church...they spew nothing but hate, but that's their right. I don't believe any state should allow them to block highways, but that isn't up to me or ATS unless like august said, it's taken to the supreme court...

However, If BLM starts openly calling for the murder of whites and white cops etc, and then actually carry it out, which many think they have already done, they should be upgraded to a terrorist org and not be allowed to assemble anywhere besides behind bars.

i understand the want or need to be televised... but is media attention their real motive? im sure 80% of america knows about BLM and what they are about.
i think it does mainly have to do with attention. the " look at me i matter" narrative comes to mind.

i think we all get it. we get what it looks like... black man killed by white cop. i get it. but to BLM its more than that. its we are sick of it. i just think the media pushes some of these police brutality issues way too hard before an investigation is done.
