It is a race issue.

They try to take focus away from a systemic, endemic condition with feeble attempts to point out past misdeeds or mistakes they made during the encounters, saying they would never be in that position because they would obey, comply.

"Have you ever clutched the steering wheel Of ur car 2 tight prayin that the police sirens pass you by at night?" ~Prince

Some people just really don't understand because they don't want to.

They have become desensitized to the plight of those whose voices are not being heard.

That or they just really don't want to admit to any culpability, intentional or not, to the condition.

It's hard to take any claims of racism seriously because you don't know who is crying wolf and who isn't. If you're white and work in customer service, you know what I'm talking about. You get random black people crying racism over everything every now and then. I can't tell you why; I can only tell you that when I kicked some kids out of the pool and when I was selling movie tickets, race was the last thing on my mind.

The biggest group representing race issues today being BlackLivesMatter doesn't help at all.

BLM crying wolf on Orlando:

“Despite the media’s framing of this as a terrorist attack, we are very clear that this terror is completely homegrown, born from the anti-Black white supremacy, patriarchy and homophobia of the conservative right and of those who would use religious extremism as a weapon to gain power for the few and take power from the rest,” the statement said. “Those who seek to profit from our deaths hope we will forget who our real enemy is, and blame Muslim communities instead.”

“The enemy is now and has always been the four threats of white supremacy, patriarchy, capitalism and militarism,” the statement said. “These forces and not Islam create terrorism.”

It ends up being very easy to just think that almost everyone is crying wolf.

When you rep a group like BLM, any rational white guy immediately associates you with the people blaming him for being responsible for the Orlando terrorist attacks simply for being white and male. How do you yourself expect to be taken seriously when you overtly support a racist group like BLM?

And your point is what exactly?

"Far left extremist Guardian newspaper"????????????????

(Hysterical laughter)

Where the hell did you dredge that stupendously inaccurate claim from? It could be classified as a liberal publication, but far left extremist??? Utter rubbish.

The way a person feels inside because of their race, their experiences and the path they walk is very real.

And that's why it is a race issue. Truth.

We all know how this will go.

The officer will say he did everything by the book and absent video proving otherwise his word will carry more weight than the female's word. It will be determined by law enforcement that Philando Castile was actively reaching for his firearm when the officer, fearing for his life, opened fire. No charges will be brought against anyone involved. Protests will take place daily for the next couple months. And once things calm down we'll move on to the next officer killing a civilian for being scary.

Don't read the Washington Times.

It's a complete piece of garbage. Look up its history. It might as well call itself a tabloid.

The way they feel inside doesn't seem to reflect reality. Whenever I see the race card thrown around, 99% of the time it's bogus. I know that the Orlando terrorist attacks didn't happen because of white supremacism and the patriarchy. I also know that I wasn't thinking of race at all when I had to kick kids out of the pool or was selling movie tickets.

How am I supposed to take your feelings about race seriously when you're repping a group that's blaming me for the Orlando terrorist attacks because of white male supremacy?

I don't believe their statement is too far off the mark. Who took us into a false war and vilified an entire religion to get us to swallow it?

Minnesota's Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating, and Gov. Mark Dayton has asked the U.S. Justice Department to examine the case. Today, Castile's mother, Valerie, said that while her son tried to live by the law, "he was killed by the law." At a press conference Thursday, Dayton called the shooting "totally unacceptable."

He said he found both the shooting and the aftermath "absolutely appalling at all levels," noting in particular that no first aid was provided to Castile, while other police officers did attend to the officer who fired the shots.

Dayton also criticized the "stark treatment" of Reynolds by police. [Source]

Word is coming out from the Sheriff that this man did not have a ccw permit. The plot thickens?

The problem is that these idiots are obviously being trained to treat every black man as a criminal regardless of the facts, they can no longer blame it on human error, it's racial profiling and bad training that is causing this to keep happening, there is no excuse for it, they need to train the police to react with appropriate force or one day very soon they are going to find that they, the police forces and politicians that allow this to keep happening are vastly outnumbered by people who want them to pay for it, and when the people realize that all the power is theirs they will rise up against it, it's happened several times over the centuries, the slave rebellions of ancient Rome, the executions of the French nobility and the Russian revolution all prove that when people are pushed too far the consequences are severe and it's going to happen again, it's just a matter of time.

In the State of Minnesota a resident applies for a ccw permit with the sheriff department in the county in which they reside. The Ramsey County sheriffs department stating they didn't issue the permit does not mean Philando Castile did not have a ccw permit. It simply means they were not the county that issued it.

SOURCE

I live in Minnesota and the local news has been stating that Hennepin County had confirmed they issued the permit.

so, wait did they ever find that 'broken tail light'

that is what initially the stop was for, was it not? or was that just fluff...

i guess he still felt threatened as he watched the man die and not attempt to save his life, watched him bled to death and screaming dont move....

Its not this inept cop that is scary, its how many more like him are left out there on the nation's police forces 'protecting and serving' whilst ready to shoot.

this is nothing shocking, why is everyone out of the woodworks like ambiguity in police force, excessive or warranted questionable? when was the last time Miranda rights were read in a youtube video, when was the last time we saw police chase and arrest criminals and not come close to, or killing the suspect? the miranda rights are just mural decorations at police stations nation wide.
