It's all focused on the email part of the story and no mention of the Foundation.

That aspect looks like it is going to be buried which will allow them to let her off on the email part.

Strange one part is missing.

The Campaign didn't say she had lawyers present !!!

I say she did.

And be aware the only info right now is from the Hillary Campaign.

They have been lying their way through this for months already.

The simple fact Clinton's lack of professionalism allowed enemy nations (Iran, Russia) the opportunity to access Top Secret information and doesn't remove herself as a presidential hopeful only shows her unfit for office.

Just think of the blackmail potential if nothing else.

The fact Obama's administration isn't forcing the hand of the DoJ shows how and why we have gotten this far. Further, it shows this current administrations poor decision making by making her SoS. That said, it wasn't like he had a choice seeing how the back room deals that lead him to be president was on most certainly tied to Clinton receiving the position she did.

Traitors, the whole lot of'em.

Sadly our alternative is the crook that is Trump. How did America become so #ed?

Breitbart now has a story up:

Reports were confirmed on Saturday morning that the Federal Bureau of Investigation interviewed Democratic presumptive presidential nominee Hillary Clinton for over three hours at FBI headquarters regarding the unsecured email server that she used and sent classified information over while Secretary of State.

FBI Grills Hillary for More Than Three Hours, Witness Cheryl Mills Seen at Residence

No mention at all of the Clinton Foundation.

Cheryl Mills left the Clinton home shortly after Hillary arrived from the interview. They probably compared notes as to what was asked and how each of them answered.

The email thing being passed over and tossed in the trash due to nearly everyone in America not being able to understand the counterespionage act and how the proper handling of classified information is a near certainty, imho, at this point.

Once that has been tossed, there will be no need to look further into the Foundation.

Introvert has put it quite succinctly in how this case will be dealt with and the tack that will be used to give Hillary a pass; all legal of course:

There are some problems, though, by invoking section F.

Could an aggressive prosecutor argue that it was grossly negligent for her to run all of her emails out of her home server and that it included “national defense” information “removed from its proper place of custody? ” Sure, but that would also warp the intent and interpretation of this Espionage Law without far more evidence than what we have today.

In 1941, the U.S. Supreme Court heard a case which challenged whether the phrase “national defense” in this Espionage Law was too vague and overbroad. The answer was no only because:

“we find no uncertainty in this statute which deprives a person of the ability to predetermine whether a contemplated action is criminal under the provisions of this law. The obvious delimiting words in the statute are those requiring intent or reason to believe that the information to be obtained is to be used to the injury of the United States, or to the advantage of any foreign nation. This requires those prosecuted to have acted in bad faith.”

The Supreme Court clearly never envisioned a prosecution under the Espionage Act without “intent” to injure the United States and in “bad faith.” (This was in reference to a different section of the same law but the point remains the same.) Other courts have interpreted the phrase “national defense” narrowly as a direct result of the fact that on its face, the words seem so broad. Furthermore, ”gross negligence” as a legal matter, doesn’t, and shouldn’t, just mean it was wrong or dumb or even just careless. Rather gross negligence is generally defined legally as: “A lack of care that demonstrates reckless disregard for the safety or lives of others, which is so great it appears to be a conscious violation of other people’s rights to safety. It is more than simple inadvertence….”

As Professor Laurie Levinson explained in the National Law Journal: “Politics aside, it is difficult to find prior cases where the unwise handling of classified information led to a federal indictment. For the last 20 years, the federal statutes have been used when there were intentional unauthorized disclosures. The Department of Justice appears to have gone after ‘leakers,’ but not bunglers.”

lawnewz.com...

It appears that intent is very important, based on past cases.

They're moving forward with the "no willful violation," argument and most people are going to swallow it whole.

Not the same level of corruption by any standard.

Do you think the FBI paid the usual 225,000K standard
speaking fee to Clinton?

I woiuld assume she had lawyers present. If you made a thread on ATS and said "the FBI wants to talk to me. They have agreed to question me at my home and i said yes. Should I have a lawyer or lawyers present?" I would say, yes, xuenchen, get as many lawyers as you possibly can get to your home.

All true, very good points.

I find it of particular interest the one sentence news article
telling that the FBI interviewed her while she was Sec of State.

If that is indeed true, this might explain her one term only service.

Which line was that? All I've seen in the articles is they interviewed her about emails while she was SecState. Not that they interviewed her while she was SecState about her email.

I saw Loretta Lynch talk about that. I have no reason to not believe her. There are few government employees I would trust, but nothing in her speaking or body language would cause me to believe she was lying. Bill Clinton spent a good amount of the time talking to her husband on the plane. She stated, :"I know how others could view it. I am sorry this placed a shadow on... (this investigsation.)" The team that will make recommendations to her existed before her term. They are career agants and prosecutors, not political apointees. She states she will accept their recommendation, whatever it may be.

Is it? It is allowed under the current laws. If it was
actual corruption, he would be under investigation right?

But, really this is for a different thread alright?

How bout your opinion on why The FBI might have interviewed
Hillary while she was still Sec of State?

Then she "fell ill" and resigned.
