no...
Gnosticism wasn't a religion...They were "christian"... or at least part of the many competing sects of it as it was evolving in those days...
They were just writers that disagreed with the "church", and had a following... and had different beliefs then what the ruling class of "priests" believed
Valintinus was the guy that believed that Jesus was just a spirit, that didn't leave foot prints...
It wasn't the tree of good and evil, it was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

I see an assertion of the sin of pride. I don't see anything that confirms the origin of sin. The LORD himself is not without "sin", and HE created evil, according to the Bible.
The Bible says that the devil was the first that was found with sin, as you read
and the fall of the devil and 1/3 of the angels happened before Adam was created.
That's what the KJV says, modern translations say he creates "calamity". Meaning destruction, volcanoes, earthquakes
Deuteronomy 32
For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.
23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.
24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of serpents of the dust.
25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.

Jesus said, "You shall know them by their fruits: Do men gather grapes from thorns?".
The seeds you plant are the fruits you get. It's not really a "punishment" or a "reward" anymore than gravity is; it's just the law of cause and effect (karma / sowing and reaping).
If people plant the seeds of Love, the those seeds will bring the fruits of Love.

I don't even know why I'm arguing with you about this to be quite honest. If you want to believe that God sins and is the author of sin, then go right ahead. I think I'm wasting my time with this particular point.
