Yes, racism and hatred pushed by media, fuels tribalism, which causes even intelligent people to perceive two young school girls that refused to swim on the other side of the world, as a threat to their own survival.

Basically girls are no longer allowed to be modest. People keep whittering on about them being oppressed but which group of weirdo men is trying to force them to fo something they don't want to. Its incredibly creepy to see adults wanting these children to be in swimsuits in front of boys to prove they are modern. As a woman I think its rank.

This was actually my main concern. It’s similar to when I once saw somebody say “no we will not cover our girls up”, that really made me cringe. Likewise in this case, it’s as if people are deliberately promoting the idea of children wearing next to nothing and at the moment somebody suggests they should cover up they don’t like it.

If a child does not want to expose her body then so be it.

ABUSING?....i don't think so. It's all about intergration into a new society and culture that the Swiss hold dearly. If anyone, including these kids and their parents WANT to live in Switzerland as citizens, then they MUST conform to Swiss laws, rules and practices, no if's or but's, period.....
