Well, I'm pretty sure being a Mayor and a Senator is a job so I'm not sure what you mean. As if washing dishes at Applebee's or parking cars somewhere would make him acceptable to you for some reason. He's dedicated his life to public service so what??? When someone else does it they call them a Professional or Master of their Craft. But when he does it you use it against him. It's nothing more than a Smear tactic meme.

Why did everyone ignore him when they had the choice to vote 4 yrs ago?

The media blackballed him as did the establishment. They tried the same thing with Sanders only it didn't work this time. Or I suppose it did work since he's out of the race now, it just didn't work as quickly as it did with Ron.

Why Sanders?

I guess people liked his message more, how do I know. IMO "they" made the mistake of ignoring him thinking that alone would work but it didn't and by the time "they" realized he was a threat it was too late to just ignore him and have that work in their favor. A grass roots movement had already started. The media did what they could to not talk about him but at a certain point they couldn't just ignore the guy and had to report something about him. Even then they just talked about him as a crazy old man socialist instead of an underdog who was a real threat. Media bias worked in the end but just barely.

I'll tell you, It's called the Gov't Propanda Machine. They only choose Wimps who will do and say anything in their favor.

Another interesting opinion. Don't suppose you can back that one up either???

I'm still unsure of the 3rd party vote. Is a vote for say, Gary Johnson a guarantee to get Hillary in the WH? I don't know either way anymore. Voting against Trump, is that going to insure another Clinton presidency? That's my major dilemma. What's your thought on the 3rd party vote in this election?

I still have the Bernie sign in my yard. I'm cautious about Clinton/Warren, I still don't trust that Donald is actually capable, and mostly I want to address domestic issues. Which will mean people paying taxes.

Bernie says it perfectly. Both Hillary and Donald repeat lines of his and have been pushed (or pulled, or directed to go into) to the left. The Christian Right-Wing is in its death throes.
