People, it's not about "our" security, its all about those in power's security of being able to nab anyone they want that is against the "new world order". That's it, people. You need to start destroying them cameras or you're freedom to be yourself will be destroyed.

This thread really is about your thoughts "future" of the street cameras now being placed in America with the judge's approval. Sucks I tell ya.

Here in Japan, it is "secrete" camera country. The cops really do catch the criminals here most of the time because of cameras, but we don't think here it is an invasion of privacy, but in America with all the loss of freedom due to "National Security" which really should be renamed "Elite Security", yeah, that's right. It's all about control.

If you destroy those cameras with the expressed intention of stopping a new world order likely you will be charged with a crime and thrown into a mental hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Without debating the boogie man that is NWO, let me inform you that the cameras which are keeping most track of you are not out in the streets they are in your pocket, purse, or flying around at a high enough altitude to not be perceived from ground level.

Most of the cameras on the streets are for giving people a minor headache in the form of traffic tickets, and not much else.

No.
You need to start doing that.

And good luck with it.

So the cameras are supposed to grab license plate numbers?

Hoody and a paint ball gun.

Being watched crossing the street doesn't stop me from being myself. But I'm not trying to hide anything.

Being watched, period, doesn't stop me from doing what I want or being myself.

And businesses that implement camera's have experienced a drop in crime because lets face it, people will be less likely to commit a crime if they think they will be caught and will have to face the consequences.

Allow me to play devil's advocate.

Police man, Well if you got nothin to hide, how about a quick frisk, then you can go on your way. You got nothing to hide, right".

OR

Safety officer, "hey we just are going to scan your cell phone, you got nothin to hide right?"

OR

Patrol officer, "let us look in your car and you can be on your way" "got nothing to hide right".

OR and my fave

Cop (at your front door at 3AM) "we are looking for a 'fill in the blank' let us in your house and take a look around, nothin to hide right?"

Corruption happens. In every institution, corporation, business, and etc. The bigger the tree, the more places to hide. We just need to constantly keep an eye out for that, as well. But it's not like we're dealing with the evil eye of Sauron, and if we were... I'd totally be down to revolt and fight that evil.

And, basically... I got stories. Like all of your situations? Happened. But I've never been abused by the police. There were legit reasons to every situation. So yeah, I'm not hiding anything. I ain't complaining. I'm thankful of everyone who work keep us all safe.

most of the cameras around here where i live, are so high up you can't touch them with a 50 foot pole, and are mounted on steel light posts, no chance of shinny up one of those.

When I read or see some poor sap getting his a$$ kicked by a police officer with video and he didn't do anything wrong, I can see that being me or a loved one. We are free and every camera makes me feel (I hate the word feel) like we are one step closer to a police state. That's on me.

The examples I gave are from me when I was in my 20's, and one from a coworker. I refused the frisk and the car search. I knew what the police could and couldn't do. My co worker let the police into his home, with threat of child protective services, false complaint (neighbor with a attitude) and it didn't go well.

The phone thing is going through the courts now. I feel this is very close to police state type stuff.

I am a white genXer who's dad was a police officer for 31 years. And I am BORING. That means I not out causing havoc in my community. I have a hard time with camera's watching me just like I would have a hard time with a police officer following me all afternoon.

The problem with "I'm not doing anything wrong" is that "wrong" can be a moving target.

go ahead with that plan and tell me how it worked out for you... seriously i dont think the cameras are there for the nwo. if there even is a nwo shouldnt they have just taken over already? why all the waiting around, if it was me id grab the bull by the horn and put it to the floor so to speak, to make the transition fast and painless

200,000,000 guns would make anything but painless.

We are able to see when authority is abused because of camera's, as well. Youtube is all over that. Smart phones. Even in a cops own vehicle.

I don't really know what to say. I don't feel threatened when I go to the mall and I see that there are camera's in the parking lots. I feel safer.

I'm sorry that it gives you anxiety?
