Directly from Chicago....you want to talk about mass shootings....maybe a one time incident is one category, but long term shootings.....you can see for yourself, this is close to genacide. What a shame and Obamas crony Rahm Emanuel is in charge.....coincidence?

This weekend, Chicago is at 2 shootings per hour thus far...

That's how the local news is now covering this scourge. Saying "48 shot thus far", has lost it's "WOW!" factor.

There are many stories about the largest drug Cartel (Senaloa Cartel) making a deal with the USA to provide intelligence on all the other Cartels in Mexico. Part of the deal was to have a more or less secure route for their drugs to enter the USA. One of their major distribution points in the northern USA is Chicago. Old news for anyone who has heard testimony and delved briefly into the drug war of the states. Chicago runs somewhere between 500 and 600 people a year killed in turf/gang wars by the competition..

What is amusing about the whole story line (in a sick kinda way) Chicago until very recently has been a gun free zone..! Still the deaths continued.

Just well-defined pockets of the city. I was in one of the pockets today for a wedding. Absolute lawlessness is on display in that would make an adventurous tourist shake his head in disbelief. The local police precinct station parking lot was full of police cars. The streets in that neighborhood were devoid of police cars.

This is complete madness.

These young guys don't see three feet past in front of their faces. Is tomorrow not worth seeing?

I cannot fathom the plight of the people who want to get out of there.

There's extreme violence in the 5th largest city in North America? That's a frickin shock. Probably nothing to do with the fact that there are a lot of people in a given area. Some might not be content.
