Omar Mateen's Wife Tried to Talk Him Out of Orlando Attack, Sources Say

The Orlando gunman's wife has told federal agents she tried to talk her husband out of carrying out the attack, NBC News has learned.

If she knew about this and did nothing she is in deep trouble.

Omar Mateen's current wife, Noor, told the FBI she was with him when he bought ammunition and a holster, several officials familiar with the case said. She told the FBI that she once drove him to the gay nightclub, Pulse, because he wanted to scope it out

So this massacre is going to turn out to be all because of a crazy person?

Why was he going to "scope it out".

Hadn't he been there many times before? Several people have indicated that he would come to the club and get drunk and belligerent.

He knew that club. Why would he need to do recon on it?

Someone is lying.

So could she be the 2nd shooter that some witnesses talked about? Could they be just like the San Bernadino killers?

I have no doubt there are many lies around this tragedy; his ex wife confessing to aiding him in this despicable event is pretty important as he is dead.

Not really. Just making sure we aren't jumping to conclusions just yet. I certainly haven't seen enough evidence to support charging her yet. Apparently neither have the police, but they are considering it.

How the heck does this prove Trump correct? This is about a crazy person. Not ISIS, ISIL or whatever. This guy wanted to go out with a bang. His wife apparently knew and said nothing. Has nothing to do with carpet bombing ISIS. People need to wake up before we turn into Nazi Germany. Hail Trump!
