Sounds like a typical self hating gay, in Afghanistan Muslim men cross dress boys and have sex with them.

I used to have a positive view of gays, then I started meeting gay people, they really creeped me out.

They'd laugh about beating up an effeminate gay guy for being effeminant, laugh about a gay guy dying from HIV or one of those fake doctors injecting a tranny with hardware store caulk for butt implants.

Go look at the m4m section of Craigslist if you don't believe me. You'll see some sadistic stuff.

That being said violence is never the answer.

As a child I never even like America's funniest home videos, because they just showed videos of people getting hurt, I liked America's funniest people.

In fact, the FBI has one of the guys phone who received messages from the shooter.

As well as frequenting the gay nightclub before the attack, the gunman Omar Mateen is said to have used a gay dating app. Kevin West, a regular at Pulse nightclub, said Mateen messaged him on and off for a year before the shooting using the gay chat and dating app Jack’d, according to the LA Times. Mr. West turned over his phone and Jack’d log-in information to the FBI, which still had the phone late Monday, he said.

The gunman who attacked a Florida LGBT nightclub had attended the club before the attack and had used a gay dating and chat app, witnesses said.

Kevin West, a regular at Pulse nightclub, said Omar Mateen messaged him on and off for a year before the shooting using the gay chat and dating app Jack’d.

Um no. This is just a spin to make it look like a hate crime.
This was a terrorist attack.
- this mentalist was probably one of the smartest terrorists on a while. a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Careful research, planning, infiltration, execution.
50 + deaths, no bombs needed. A careful , precise, methodical, attack on a group he scoped and defined.

No one could have suspected him if he seemed 'non-threatning.

...careful research?....

get gun. goto club..shoot anything that moves.

not really a master plan.

Certainly no different to almost every other attack by islamists. Find the weakest target, and go hard till you're dead.

I don't think this gels for me. Attack an entire sub culture for being jilted? I'm a monster, but not even I could attain such atrocity...

I find it far more likely that as with his father, his imam, his religion, he perhaps felt ostracised by society and decided to partake in his little holy war, with the support of extremist elements on the other side of the planet.

Everyone says these folk are patsies, plants, false flags. No one realises that they hate you.

Well, that's one way to try to save face... I guess.

Get found out that you're gay:

Buy some guns, swear an allegiance to Allah and ISIS, run out to the nearest gay club, slaughter a bunch of innocent people.

And walla ! Proof to daddy and your local Imam that you're not gay afterall.

The end.

If this turns out to be the real reason behind his actions... then he's an even sicker f*** than I thought.

Right. So what some assumed was him casing the place doing "research" may well have been that he just hung out there. And apparently at other bars like it.

A stranger would have garnered more suspicion, especially one who looks shady.

case the joints, pick the best target, know of an event, fish in a barrel.

The alternative is there are a lot of people with demented minds who just happen to be of a certain religious bent. and still, you let more and more in by the thousands.

Hmmm...maybe he was trying to prove he wasn't what he was? To himself. To his father. The holy war and hate was probably within him and for himself. Too bad he didn't keep it that way. The psychology on this one might be deep.

An interesting story from a drag queen he knew here.

Makes it sound like he didn't have a problem with the community. At all.

Abortion clinic bombers fit very nicely into the FBI's definition of a terrorist. So do anti-trump protestors, most goverments and I can think of a dozen other examples.

Cheers - Dave

This is breaking news in the UK. He had the grinder app on his phone and it's looking like he was a regular at gay clubs too.

It's possible he was a gay guy who buried his feelings and played straight. It's still all his fault for what he did as there are likely millions of repressed gays across the world who aren't having #fits and slaughtering others. If true, he won't be the first closetted gay person to hate those who are 'out.'

A friend of mine named Mody who I talk to about our cultures Ect Via skype, talks about many homosexual things he regularly engages in, in Egypt. However if pressed about being homosexual he will adamantly deny that he is, and suggests that homosexuals should be put to death or jailed by law. This man very well could of been repressed, and in an Islamic culture or upbringing that would make even more sense, this doesn't somehow exonerate this man's call to 911 claiming allegiance to ISIS, or his having been on a watch list, or his having been friends with a militant,(which im sure this will only get more damning as the investigation goes on) if anything this is just further proof of the nature of the beast, what we are really dealing with, in the minds of these radicals. The only mistake that has been made is that we left the middle east, and we left it in shambles.

By tomorrow, this will likely be ALL OVER MSM.

Mateen's first wife, Sitora Yusufiy, whom he met online in 2009 and married soon after, spoke to a Brazilian TV station on Monday, Gawker reported. Yusufiy was joined on the channel by her Brazilian fiance, Marcio Dias.

Speaking Portuguese, he told the channel that Yusufiy told him Mateen had 'gay tendencies' and had been called gay in front of her on several occasions by his father.

He also said that she didn't believe that Mateen's Islamic beliefs were at the root of his attack.

She had told the FBI that he was unstable, and that she didn't believe he was part of a terrorist group - despite him telling authorities he was with ISIS before the attack an ISIS later taking credit. 'The FBI asked her not to tell this to the American media,' he told the station.

It/she also says he had a history of taking steroids. This guy was a cocktail of conflict just waiting to explode. And what's up with withholding info from the American media??????

I'm thinking his father is the only advocate of his anti-gay behavior. Or maybe, the shooter was putting on an act in front of his father? But the fact that his father called him gay - in front of his wife, I'm sure it wasn't a term of endearment.

No, because they do not fit that profile. Irregardless, Anyone who threatens the life of others for either personal or religious beliefs, would be classified as a terrorist.

This is new info to me, and quite significant, IMO. I've read several times that he was into body building, or at least heavily working out. If he was trying to beef up further, 'roids would have definitely been a bulking route to consider. And we all know how certain steroids can turn a mellow teddy bear into a violent, rabid animal in a flash. Couple that hormonal instability with the possible psychological instability his ex mentioned, and it's a damn powder keg.

It's certainly possible that he had a lot of pent up rage over parental disgust/rejection. Angry gays with that particular chip on their shoulder are not new.

But contains a larger percentage (100%) than any other group. If you gonna go with facts , state the entire facts. Dont leave something out because it sounds better to omit part of it.

In reality it's probably not far off the percentage of the GOP base. Let's not forget where three GOP candidates spoke in November, including a sitting Senator, Governor and a former Governor/Fox News personality who also happened to be the guy lifting Kim Davis's hand in the air in front a cheering crowd of people who were claiming that their (Christian) "religious beliefs" compelled them to discriminate against gays.

All three candidates are scheduled to speak at the two-day conference that’s being organized by ultra-conservative radio pastor Kevin Swanson. Right Wing Watch has put together a fairly comprehensive list of the man’s objectively insane ideas, some of which include: - Girl Scout cookies turn girls into lesbians. - The Rose Bowl needs a float where a gay person gets stoned to death. - Natural disasters in Colorado were probably caused by women in pants. - In women who take birth control pills, “there are these little tiny fetuses—these little babies—embedded into the womb. They’re just, like, dead babies!” - The movie Frozen wants to turn your five-year-old into a lesbian. - And last but not least—homosexuals deserve the death penalty.

More from the ex-wife...bombshell per the NYPost

Sitora Yusufiy, who was married to Mateen in 2009 for three months, made the shocking claim on Brazilian television station SBT Brazil. Her fiancé, Marco Dias, speaking in Portuguese on her behalf, said that Yusufiy believed that Mateen had “gay tendencies” and that his father had called him gay in front of her. Dias also claimed “the FBI asked her not to tell this to the American media.”

The bombshell came as a male former classmate of Omar Mateen said he had been asked out romantically by the mass killer, who reportedly was a virtual regular at the Pulse nightclub, having visited it more than a dozen times over the years. [Source]

Father called him gay...FBI asked her what now?

All hearsay yes.

But

If it is true, then yes negative religious stereotyping and pressure could have caused him to go postal. It does do that to gay people sometimes. Usually they (like I did) attempt or successfully manage suicide though.

This man was seriously unhinged and whatever his sexuality was, it does not undo the tragedy and loss of innocent life. Trying to to pin it on being gay while totally ignoring his radical Islamic ties is a dirty distractionary tactic.

I don't believe anyone is "trying to to pin it on being gay" or "totally ignoring his radical Islamic ties" or wanna-be ties as the case may have it. Why "dirty distractionary tactic" and not the unveilinng of the complex and interrelated parts and perhaps illness as contributing factors?

When there exists a huge gulf between who you are, and who you believe you should be, it creates neurosis, cognitive dissonance and self hatred. If he was gay, with his background and culture, he had a perfect recipe for disaster.

The Guardian...an opinion, but with some strong and thought-provoking points about how maybe the entire country, world, everyone has in fact leapt to an enormous, erroneous conclusion and gone down some pointless roads.

Omar Mateen's interest in gay men makes this no ordinary act of terrorism

He felt guilty about his own sexuality and blamed other homosexuals for that.

That's something like a pedophile blaming the kids.
