I'm wondering if the "bomb" was in fact a kevlar vest. Those affiliated with certain gangs and cartels down there don't mess around when they get confrontational. It wouldn't be the first time someone started something and was found to have been armored up.

Most drug related issues are sorted ... in house.

I remember the Cuban gang wars of the 1980s.

"In House" happened in clubs, a lot.

And Orlando's still one of the known major distribution hubs. It really would not shock me if it was a turf war or a retaliation job.

Yup was going to move to there from S. FL(also has a lot of gang issues) over 14 years ago. A friendly officer told me that's not a wise choice due to the growing gang activity. Friends and family say the immediate area is getting worse by the day.

Fifteen mins ago(source shared in a prior reply) see here the reporter said the suspect was still inside. As well as minutes before that a witnesses saying that friend is still held up inside. Wonder how many are being held hostage that may be having bombs strapped to them-if the bomb info is true.
