Regardless if Trump is racist towards Mexicans or not... Our border security does need to be updated (a wall being one of the options). All people should have to come here legally. The strain that the illegal population places on our economy and political climate in California is ridiculous, and I (a legal resident that pays taxes) have to pay for it.

I live in New Mexico and agree 100% Between my home town of Las Cruces (70 miles north of the border) and my current town of Truth or Consequences (150) miles north of the border, I have to go through a border check on the way North. Here my rights are suspended and you are basically at the Federal Government's mercy. It is not part of New Mexico. Why can't all the border security be at... you know... the BORDER? Aztlan is real. There are some bitter people that think they can get New Mexico Utah Arizona and California back. I can see why they don't want Texas. Texans would beat them again. People need to be more like Texas.
