Students have to pay for these events. It's respectful to them to try and wait as long as possible.

Dont you think the police already being there is evidence that they were prepared? Or maybe the fact that the auditorium was empty and not full of crazy pants protesters? IDK i think they prepared as best they could. UCLA is a very liberal campus...what do you suggest? Holding a secret meeting in an attic?
