Even if you could prove that - so? Facebook isn't the government. Why are you complaining about this?

Last week, the U.S. Senate Commerce Committee sent a letter to Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg asking him, among other things, to provide a full account of how the company operates its trending topics feed - a list of popular news stories, personalized to individual tastes, that appears in the upper right side of users' Facebook pages.

Does the Senate ask Fox News (as just one example) if it's being unbiased in the stories it chooses to run with, or the way those stories are covered?

I think we should all expect more from our news sources, but that ship has sailed. This is a money making operation - and if you feel slighted because Facebook isn't telling you what you want to hear the way you want to hear it - who's problem is that?
