I'm not an American conservative, I don't fit into that traditional block.. but nice try.

I subscribe to conservative views on social issues, other than that my perspective is that of a conspiracy theorist. I don't believe in the left and the right.

You don't need to agree on anything, numerous aspects of leftist ideology goes hand in hand with the agendas of the globalist elite. Your description of progressives in America may ring true, but it's certainly not universally true. Progressives in Scandinavia are conformist to a frightening degree, their narrow thinking would be the envy of the Borg.

Being gay used to be taboo, still is in many places in the US yet gay people managed through actual persecution mind you to make a place for themselves on the national stage as equals. To be fair, there's a difference between being deliberately incendiary for kicks, and using a word in a different context. Having lesbian in-laws doesn't stop me, my husband, brothers-in-law, or my in-laws, from saying "That's gay, people" to something stupid. It's not a reflection on gay people nor is it an insult directed at them, it's a repurposed use of the word to mean something else entirely.

Our language is extremely varied, and full of words with multiple meanings. It's idiotic to think all of them apply simultaneously upon utterance. If offense is taken at the utterance, check yourself before you bitch (as in complain, not be one, or be a female dog. Get my drift?)

What really grinds my gears is that most of these people aren't actually truly offended....they choose to be coz its fashionable and makes them feel special. Its a choice...they don't have to be but want to be. AT the end of the day some words are supposed to be offensive....its what they are there for! Ammunition for a right good old fashioned bust up with wordage...doesn't have the same effect yelling pc non insulting insults with an apology tacked on the end and an offer of therapy afterwards
