I read an article earlier this morning in which a reporter asked Sid Blumenthal about the whole email thing and he got smarmy with the reporter.

Hillary's insistence on "no willful violations" and "retroactively classification," Mills getting up and leaving during an FBI interview, Bill calling the investigation a "game" all point to an attitude of 'we know we did wrong AND got caught but we're going to get away with it and there's nothing anyone can do about it.'

I would dearly love to see a "shock and awe" level of findings and an avalanche of multi-count indictment recommendations, but I would not be surprised to see the Clintons skate after tossing a few of their underlings under the bus as appeasement.

And her sycophants won't care regardless of what the FBI finds, Hillary can do no wrong in the eyes of some.

That was due more to your source than the story.

Anything traceable to Sorcha Faal is dead on arrival.

While there may be some truth within a Sorcha story, there will be much that is not and further distortion, addition, or omission which lead one further away from what might be worth considering.

Any time you find a story by Faal, check for other, non-related, sources and then use them as the basis for your OP. A mention of a Faal story if your so inclined but I would steer clear entirely if it were me.

But to be honest I still think she would have been better in 2008 than Obama. But I sure as hell don't want to see her as POTUS now.

Oh, my comments don't precluse your idea that Hillary is a placeholder and knows it.

The email thing could be enough to keep her from being president while being a Clinton might be enough to keep her out of jail.

Ideally, the FBI turns up enough dirt in the Clinton Foundation corruption investigation to even overshadow the Clintonian ability to skate by when others would be put under the jail.

Honestly, I didn't and still don't think they would have been substantively different.

That's why I was so pissed off at the party, in 2008. My feminist-nose was out of joint. I felt like Obama was championed by the party simply because racism was easier to exploit for votes than sexism & misogyny. I also thought Hillary had the edge on qualifications.

Those reasons led me to feel..and then understand...the entire party is disingenuous about what their 'tolerance & enlightenment' is really all about: political exploitation.

I've allowed myself to be much more objective in my analysis of the two parties since that epiphany.

Even though I believe 'The Establishment' would be 'getting their way' with Bernie, I would find MUCH solace and happiness if Hillary was not the nominee or GE winner.

Keep in mind that I am still firmly in the apathy camp on the outcome of this election though.

I believe they will charge her.

If not, we are not all equal in the eyes of the law.

She is too connected, has dirt on too many people and will use that to get out of anything they can throw at her. But, that dirt works against her also. If "They" ever decide that Hillary is getting to be too much of a problem, it will be a more permanent solution they use, not jail.

Funny how people like you choose the single conservative voice in a sea of liberal lies and worry...and spend so much of your lives trying to demean them. I agree, something seems off. Like wicked witch of the east off, how anybody can watch her talk for than a minute or two and not get creeped out is beyond me.

Clinton and her top aides had access to a Pentagon-run classified network that goes up to the Secret level, as well as a separate system used for Top Secret communications.

The two systems - the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) - are not connected to the unclassified system, known as the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet). You cannot email from one system to the other, though you can use NIPRNet to send emails outside the government.

Somehow, highly classified information from SIPRNet, as well as even the super-secure JWICS, jumped from those closed systems to the open system and turned up in at least 1,340 of Clinton's home emails - including several the CIA earlier this month flagged as containing ultra-secret Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Access Programs, a subset of SCI.

There is no way that information from these isolated systems can be emailed to a private outside email server. This information had to be put on a flash drive and walked outside the secure area.
