A lot of this site's quality members moved away to other locations. (site meaning ATS not the Shed)
They got sick of the bickering/arguing and same-same topics too.

I'm attached to too many people here, I don't want to leave (although sometimes I take small breaks).

The Shed was #1 on the Hot Topics for awhile, and the writers from this thread contribute a LOT to this site and the other threads. There's a lot of talent, and intelligence and humour.
In the past I received messages from lurkers who told me they loved reading along but didn't want to participate.

If this place (ATS) is considered as entertainment...then we're certainly doing our fair share, methinks!

It does not look the same to me.
I see more stories and almost every chit-chat post has more than 2 or 3 sentences Much more in-depth.

I saw people mentioned Skype before... I haven't used that thing for a couple of years, haha. But I would be happy to befriend some lovely Sheddites on the platform, though I never use webcam, prefer typing, and am more of a listener than a speaker - especially if there are more than 3 people in the call. I get confuddled and muddled easily LOL.

Anywho, speaking of stories! Mine will be coming soon! I just got off from my last day of work, *pops champagne* WOOOooOOOoooo, partay! xD Hahhaa.



Well, there would be a party, except, I'm still feeling urky purky from yesterday. Main reason I'm home -now- instead of a few hours from now. They sent me home before I could infect everyone. I felt well enough to show up, but, you know, appearances and all that.

Now I'm confused. Some or maybe all of you want more story telling yet some of those writers don't make entries. You guys want a separate thread to chit chat in yet complain there is too much chit in this thread. Maybe I'm one of the unwanted folks in here.

If you guys want another thread, go for it. If I am unwelcomed, tell me.

All I know is I have found a great group of people here, and whatever name it goes by, that will not change. People come, people go, but friendships last.

Sorry, I desperately needed a chuckle as I am close to tears. I feel things very deeply.

I did read back. I love Cody dearly and still do, but it hurt to see him shame another member of the site.

I love Jacy, always have and still do, but it makes no sense to me that there are complaints about not enough story telling, when some of those complaining have stopped making entries themselves. Then there are complaints of too much chit chat yet people want a new thread with chit chat. Is It me? Am I dense? Is it my meds? I don't get it.

I'm sorry but I'm not writing right now. BUT I start my day and end my day here. And live most of it in between. It hurts me to think it can't just be like it is

Well in other sheds there were one liners and maybe two. In here, sometimes I'll reply to someone then someone else pops in, so of course I want to reply them. I'm sure we are all guilty of that. So will I not be appreciated in a new thread or shed because of my one liners?

The shed almost died before and I kept the doors open. Maybe it's that time again when people will leave me here with maybe a member or two to keep me company? Maybe everyone will be happier with a new place? What will make it different? Same people. So just different rules? I'm not trying be an arse or anything, but I am confused. I always said I wasn't the brightest lightbulb in the pack. Plus I'm having health issues and kind of pissy. LOL

So then those people should write story entries. Why would someone complain about people not making story entries when they aren't making any themselves? I don't understand. And we have always had members who are not writers or don't care to write stories and just want to talk.

We got booted out of the short story section because of so much chit chat which is why we are in a general forum instead, so we could combine story telling and chit chat. I'm not trying to cause trouble here. Truly.

Then we leave things just as they are, no new thread. And then Cody can explain, we must be misunderstanding....

I upgraded a couple of rooms in a unused part of the shed. They were dusty, but amazing what fresh lick of paint can do.




Did some weeding in the secret garden and threw in a couple of tables and chairs for alfresco meals and cocktails.
