Nice job Gordi, looks like you won! I thought this was a writing contest not a video contest. Can you make it clear for the next contest if we can do a video? Writing and making a audio video is much different. Don't get me wrong, your narration is amazing. Thanks friend.

It was a writing contest... Gordi just put a creative spin on it, he wrote a story and then voiced it. The written version was there to be read also for those who did not wish to view the video.

Writing contest is different from a video with audio. Video with audio clearly has advantage. Just my Opinion. All I am saying is for the next contest to be fair the winner should state audio video is allowed, If I knew a video was allowed my entry would have been different.

Audio books are still books.
I don't think in this case there was a particular advantage that was due to the medium.

Still, I don't make the rules and have only ever entered once, unlike most of you.

I understand, the next winner should make it clear is audio video is allowed. Hearing a voice and reading a story to me is different. So what's the point of a writing contest?

Well, maybe it was justified due to the actual story...The medium certainly fit the message didn't it?




But maybe you are right, next time add a rider saying what's allowed.

It was still written, the choice was that of the reader's to decide if they wanted to listen to a little extra creativity. You were in no way required to only listen to the audio. It was still a written story - it had to be written to be voiced and the writing was there on the page to be read.

I would just like to note that you were the first responder to his story also, speaking of how amazing it was and offering a S+F. You only mention your disapproval now?

There was no "rule" for such a thing because it was a burst of creativity. Is creativity not wanted where it is desired? Just a thought at any rate. I won't continue. Peace.
