Ben Carson Reveals Five Names on Trump VP List

Well, get ready for a Hillary rule for the next eight years. The list consists of insiders, whom most he has verbally trashed. Hopefully this is just a ruse on Carson's part and Trump will go in a totally different direction on VP. I know people don't vote just on VP, but Palin did ruin any chance McCain had.

Dr. Ben Carson confirmed five people on presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump’s list of potential vice presidential running mates in a recent interview. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 VP running mate to John McCain, was one of the five Carson said was on the list. The rest are all former 2016 GOP presidential candidates: Trump’s closest competitor Sen. Ted Cruz, Ohio Gov. John Kasich, Sen. Marco Rubio, and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

I don't think there is a snowballs chance in hell anyone of them will get the call.
I hope not anyway. Palin would be the best choice as she has experience running a huge state and a lot of people do like her.

Yeah she was a real boon to John McCain.

Those are the five names anyone should expect to NEVER be Trump's VP ... Ben Carson being #6 (he friggin' hit his own mom with a hammer).

I wouldn't even begin to guess who Trump might pick for a running mate. It'd have to be somebody with a completely independent agenda, blessed by Trump and his insider team.

This thread did make me LOL.

I don't think Trump would choose any of these useless establishment trash.

I must be getting different info, because I was told Newt Gingrich was also being considered.

I think he will pick Chris Christie trump likes to have kids do pledges to not do drugs at his campaign events. Chris ran a anti pot campaign and pot ballot initiatives are on 20 state ballots.

I don't know if I will laugh or cry, when someone says that Newt is too old to be VP, at 72. When nobody is saying that about 74 Bernie Sanders for president. Newt would be a great Chief of Staff.

Personally, I would love(no pun intended) to see Mia Love on the ticket.

Palin is the best simply because nobody would dare assassinate him and put her in the drivers seat. She makes a good reason for him to stay healthy as Pres.

Other than that she's a complete nightmare.

I can hear her first speech when she says she can see Russia from Trump Towers.

Palin is a good pick because her propaganda and rhetoric completely fits the mindset of those that would vote for someone like Trump.

The article read to me like pure speculation. Carson threw out 5 random names, I doubt that's Trumps actual list. If that article is like the one I read on Yahoo it doesn't even say it's Trumps list, it says it's Carsons speculation on Trumps list.

Some people around the Net are saying it is a false list intentionally leaked by Trump/Carson through the reporter.

I look at this list and think there's no way in hell it can be real.

Gingrich has won Hannity's public polls on who should be chosen. Other than that, Trump hasn't said anything and it's very unlikely he'll tip his hand until after the election. Speculation that the VP will be "their guy" is a strong unifier.
