This email situation just ramped up to another level.

According to a report from four days ago, beginning in 2011, the Russians began monitoring Romanian computer hacker Marcel Lazăr Lehel (aka Guccifer) after he attempted, unsuccessfully, to break into the computer system of the Russian funded RT television network.

After monitoring Guccifer, the Russians were reportedly able to record (both physically and electronically) his actions which allowed the Russian intelligence analysts, in 2013, to not only detect his breaking into the private computer of Secretary Clinton, but also break in and copy all of its contents as well.

A couple of years later, in 2016, the US then brought in Guccifer for questioning related to this incident. According to the report, NBC news knew why Guccifer was being questioned but withheld this information from the American public.

The Associated Press reported in October 2015 that “Hillary Clinton’s private email server maintained in her home while serving as secretary of State was possibly hacked by Russia-tied authorities, and others, on five separate occasions.”

The AP report noted that investigators discovered among Clinton’s cache of released emails malicious software aimed at transmitting data to three overseas computers, including at least one in Russia. This malicious software was reportedly activated by clicking on it; but in October it was not clear if Clinton actually opened these messages or not, per the AP.

At the least, I expect Trump to hammer her on this over the course of the next few months but I also expect that a world power such as Russia hacking into her emails and potentially releasing thousands of them, to increase the chances of an indictment.

Crooked Hillary is an understatement.

UPDATE: Judge Andrew Napolitano told Megyn Kelly on Monday,

“There’s a debate going on in the Kremlin between the Foreign Ministry and the Intelligence Services about whether they should release the 20,000 of Mrs. Clinton’s emails that they have hacked into.”

And this is why her server was such a cause for concern and puts the American people at risk. Once hacked, it opened the Secretary of State up to blackmail, never mind what was actually found within the emails.

Who knows who else hacked into her emails. I'd suggest China is also a likely candidate.

Yep, IAMTAT broke this in another thread here.

I'm glad someone else picked up on this and authored a thread regarding the information.

Expect the usual suspects showing up to tell you how un-credible your source is and how everything is peachy keen in Hillary-land...

I have to say I have serious doubts when it comes to what the Kremlin says, or supposedly says. I remember there was a thread about Russia releasing 9/11 information. To my knowledge they didn't so I'm going to have to be skeptical. Not saying they didn't. Not saying Hillary is good. Just skeptical about Kremlin.

The other day my wife and I were discussing the Guccifer situation, we both thought that Putin releasing HRC's email would be funny as hell. Now it looks like it might happen, am I surprised, not at all.

I see this as being another cover ups of the truth, that seems to follow HRC through out her history.

Go hilley...

go away that is!

The link from the gateway propagandist is to a 2013 RT Article:

The emails, which were allegedly sent by former political adviser Sidney Blumenthal to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, were forwarded to RT by a hacker using the alias “Guccifer.” Guccifer was credited with hacking the AOL email account of Blumenthal last week, though the authenticity of the emails has not been verified.

This isn't new information. Google "Sid Blumenthal AOL." There's nothing new in this blog post at all. It's basically just Jim Hoft mischaracterizing the content of a bunch of linked articles.

Unchain that beast! Unless they think having Hillary in office would make it easier for them to dismantle American culture

Whether any hackers release and verify that they indeed could read Hillary's emails, does indeed leave one to question blackmail options. If she obtained the presidency, how much more powerful that blackmailing power would be against her!

Admittedly, it is a valid concern, whether her fans want to deny it.

So, what's the consensus, that this is much ado about nothing or maybe not even true...or is it an existential threat to the ability of the Princess of Darkness to become president?

The name Sorcha Faal may be the source for this story.

Disinformation from Langley is quite possible.

Seems the possibilities are too hard to resist.

Wait til it's on Russia Today I think...

That would be a dangerous door for Russia to walk through considering it can be seen as Russia directly interfering with US presidential elections. Since Putins own elections are coming up...

I thought all the emails were recovered?

Why would you doubt it?

No seriously if some lone hacker could it im more than certain the Russians could do it..

You know the first people in space...

Are you an authentic poster?

You apparently didn't read any of it.

The title is reflective of the judge's claims from last night.

The story raises another question.
What advantage to the Kremlin accrues in undermining Hillary? If there really is an internal debate, that would presumably be one of the questions. Even a false story, if it comes out of Russia, carries the same implication.
Or is it that they like the idea of having an inexperienced Trump as their chief antagonist?

And The Kremlin, "the mouthpiece," is now being praised?

My goodness - and there's another thread going around regarding "anti-Americanism."

There you have it - praising the Russian state-run media... priceless.

I'm kind of thinking that if the Russians have this much leverage over a potential president, why would they give it away now?

They'd be better off (thinking in their terms here) holding on to it in the hopes she makes it to the big chair and then at that point whatever they've (and anyone else who hacked into the machine, because you know if the Ruskies got in, so did others...) got increases in value exponentially.

Unless of course they want to make a mockery of us for choosing her as a potential candidate for presidency.

Which is totally asinine IMO.

Time to start ReConstructing the Reverse-Disinfo.

This story could be full blown controlled opposition.

Remember Ed Snowden is in Russia.

I bet he would know how to get into any email server.

Perhaps he "helped" Guccifer ?
