What is that orb of light?

Idk if this means anything but I've been practicing meditation and lucid dreaming, I managed to go full lucid on my first try. Then I went...elsewhere - I wasn't in control of the "dream" something else was and it was offering me advice, I thought it wanted to hurt me - the man looked like a shadow until he came closer. actually...everything around me was dark it was like I was in another realm I could feel my...I can't call it body - but I got the sense if I pinched myself i'd have felt it

I've been feeling these strange energies in the last few days but only in this room

because the camera is not at the same angle as your eye.
Kind of like someone signalling another with a mirror. One person can see it while a person close to them may not.

The camera also is limited by it's dynamic range..
It can blow highlights out of proportion by making them brighter and at the same time make dark areas darker.

I can move my eyes to the exact position the camera was in, and still all I see is a wall.
Put the camera to it and I see a bright sphere, if there's a scientific explanation for that i'd like to hear it

The light source isn't coming from straight on. Could be from above, below or to the side. It also doesn't have to be a focused light source.

Edit: maybe it helped that I was meditating with binural beats? I did finger excercizes repeatedly once an hour telling myself I am awake, when I fell asleep I was having more trouble moving my fingers I couldn't do the excersize and figured I must be dreaming - then...interesting things started happening - both in the dream and after I woke up

Just what the hell is this thing?

Would be nice if you told what you think it is, just for reference. A picture does not tell a 1000 words of the story of the picture if there is no background to it, then it is only what can be seen, like in this case a light on the wall.

Dude these answers are really unclear. Could you only see it once and quickly take a snap? If yes how would you know that thing is in the same spot no matter where the computer in the room? If no why did you only take one pic and not from a lot of different angles and distances, creating shadows of your own to take away any possible reflections whatsoever?

Then after that and you made your questions clear that the source of whatever that light is not easily explainable and you seek advice in the spiritual section then you'll need to explain a lot more background in your own beliefs and happenings in life to maybe have a change that someone can explain to you what it is, why it is there and why it shows itself to you, but in the end all the info they get to explain that from is yourself.

Life is just not that easy that you post a pic on some forum and someone else comes along and says:

"dude that light is the spirit of the dog of your greatgranduncle and you need to take a puppy from the shelter"

and you think

"Bingo, that's it. Thank you"

So unless you provide more, dig deeper, try to reproduce, connect with it, whatever don't flame the ones that state the obvious because that is all what you give them.

I see your point I guess, I think it has something to do with the serious meditation i've been doing lately.
I've been more in than out of a trance state lately
I'm not sure what it is, its nothing familiar - its not a dead dog or relative.
No matter where the camera is in the room *laptop cams all I got* its in the same spot
There is reflected light on the walls, but not in that spot, and it doesn't look like that.
I can tell the difference - you're right that I shouldn't have reacted like that too, sorry.

Okay, I'm really an 'empathetic Hippie' and I was NOT kidding/joshing in My first reply. Also to be quite honest, (honest, empathetic Hippie-triple whammy) You won't be able to ascertain the orbs presence unless You find One who is learned in the subject.
Green emanates from the anahata (heart chakra) and is "positive". Could Your 'white' be "crystal"?

P.S. Knowing about Your distaste for 'Hippies' and comfort being important, by all means treat My inquiry as rhetorical, I won't take any offense. An easy way to 'judge' is looking at a rainbow. Red, Orange is 'low vibe' but even these are helpful. Can You get quiet? i.e. meditation quiet? And for how long? I'll sometimes get Orbs flying around while out on the water, but usually have My dogs (male-Weimaraner; hermaphroditic-AffenPinscher who is "special") with Me so it 'may' be them that attracts the Orbs??)

I was out of line, I've met alot of annoying people in my time - can't stop talking about their trips and how they helped them find "spiritual enlightenment" the advice of someone in that state might as well go to the asylum.

I shouldn't assume all hippies are like that.
