I do wonder why these hoaxers get so many views and so many people accept their videos as fact.

At least they didn't add snow to the video and or RGB color effects like NASA does to their video feeds haha

The wavering is our atmosphere. Kinda like the heat haze you see on the road in the Summer.

Booo! It's videos like these that do a disservice to the very real topic of Ufology.

The creators of this vid should hang their heads in shame.

If it can't be explained, the only other alternative is it must be a hoax.

I have no problem beveling it's a hoax. I'm just wondering what the evidence is. Someone of you have mentioned the "wave affect", but I see the same thing when I look at the moon with my telescope.

I remember when they told us that the Hubble would not be able to zero in on the Moon or Mars. Keep in mind that the Hubble was initially sabotaged because spy agencies didn't want it known what its capabilities were.

Actually, the mirror curve was just right for a different lensing system. But they didn't correct for it in the Hubble. At least, not right away. There wasn't any "sabotage".

Soooo many people absolutely believe what they are told by others that have an interest in keeping secrets. It always amazes me.

Diffraction limiting in imaging systems is very very very old science. Like 1879. Not only is the math solid, but you can demonstrate it in, say, undergrad physics. Sooooo many people absolutely have no idea of the physics involved in the functioning of everyday objects. It always amazes me.
