I'm from Australia! The rest of the world believes that we ride around on kangaroos and wrestle crocodiles in our spare time in reality we are just like you! Subtracting the weird American accent and adding British spelling and pronunciation. (You have no idea how much I rage inside when I hear an Australian say "zee" instead of "zed" *strangles*)

Comedic tendencies aside; we're known for our kangaroos, our dangerous snakes and spiders, the Sydney opera house, and the fact that if you actually -go- to Sydney you are more likely to associate with tourists than actual Australians. (Went there a couple of years ago, stayed at a backpacker's on the cheap, was shocked to discover that many of the people there had been there for a few months and I was literally the first Australian they had spoken to during their stay.)

Edit to add: I supppooooosssseeee we're also known for our gun laws. DUN DUN DUNNNNNN.

Well...

I am originally from Florida. Right across the river from Kennedy Space Center, a little smoking cesspit known as Titusville. Florida is known for its orange groves, large population of reggae listing, boat dwelling stoners, Psychopaths and theme parks.

I moved to Idaho when I was seven. Idaho is a lot better than Florida. Not as much crime, a lot of beautiful scenery, hunting, camping, hiking. Idaho is known for its potatoes and... umm... So yeah, Idaho.

I now live in North Carolina. I like it here for a lot of the same reasons I like Idaho. North Carolina is known for Hillbillies, infamous legislation and Appalachian trail trust fund babies that eat granola and ironically listen to Phish, even though they hate Phish.

I'm from Poland and we are known for our drinking and for having the most beautiful girls/women among other things. Though I reside in New York which the must populous American city and known for places such as Broadway and events as 9/11.

I am from WA. We are known for coffee, hipster nonsense, tech industry, Microsoft, Subarus, lesbians in Subarus, pretending to hike and be outdoorsy, and it rains on occasion.

Northern Manioba Canada

We are known for vast expanses of untamed wilderness, more lakes than you can fish and extreme temperature swings from -45•c in the winter to +30•c in the summer. Our Mosquitos are as big as small birds and we ice fish till April.

Won't name the town because it's small enough you might knock on my door.....
