Known for creating The U.S. and industrialising The World

North Carolina...at present we be best known for not wanting to share our bathrooms with others. Simple fix is needed here. Unisex bathrooms statewide. We also have BBQ.....East & the other type.(yuck). Got to be vinegar based. Basketball, lots & lots of basketball. 2006 Stanley Cup Champions ( Hurricanes). And some of the best damn folks I have ever known. We got the mountains & the beaches. The International Civil Rights Museum. The sit in occurred at this site. Great universities and great hospitals, Duke Medical Center, Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem. I could go on and on about my home. To me it's the greatest place on earth. I like calling North Carolina home. But, if Hillary Clinton is elected to potus....I'm long gone to my brothers & sisters up north.....around Calgary I suppose. Looks like beautiful country.

The first settlement in america was here in 1604.
The revolutionary war was won in Yorktown.
The first battle in the civil war bull run was fought here. The last battle was fought here in Appomattox.
Virginia produces peanuts and bacon. (And ham and pork chops and....what ever else you can get off the pig)
It also has a blossoming wine industry.
We share a border with Maryland Delaware west Virginia, Kentucky north Carolina and even a tiny part of Tennessee.
We claim Washington D.C. as our land. .
The culture is big city and the most primitive of rural. Beach to mountain. It's very very pretty here.
We have four seasons.
Summer, still summer, Christmas and almost summer.
We are home to the nation's first and largest African American university in my neighborhood.
My city became home to thousands of freed slaves who sought refuge here outside of fort monroe.
We are rich rich in history.
Nine presidents were born here.
I was born and raised in N.Y.. I moved here with my family in 1991.
