I dont know about wisdom but in all honesty the guy with the highest IQ, education level, and a cumulative array of very impressive work history and skill sets on ATS is probably Bedlam.

TrueBrit, because he was the first to impress me with his kindness and persistence to someone that I found irritating. Learned from him there.

nonspecific, because he was the second, and he indirectly told me that I made a difference, when he said he’d continue to post on ATS, some months ago.

Night Star, because hers was the first love I saw shining on ATS.

Epirus, because he was the first to love me personally, and I’ll love him forever for it.

ccseagull, because she stepped up and went to bat for a stranger.

Ghost147, because he personally tried to help me with an Avatar. (I’ve been looking for the courage to tell him that his was a tad too phallic for me, an old prude, so I’m stuck, invisible still!)

RoScoLaz4, because that man of few words, gave some to me.

Informer1958, just because he’s cool and open and honest.

jacygirl, TNMockingbird, and Martin75, because they are so sweet, personal, funny beyond all measure, even when their silent troubles were beyond all measure.

Gordi The Drummer, because he was the first to affectionately call me Fishy.

onehuman, for her courage and now personal deep friendship.

sled735, for her dedication and encouragement to myself and to so many, to the point of missing out on half, if not most, of the fun on ATS.

All the Mods, especially argentus, and the one with the big eagle face. I felt so “saved” when he showed up on a thread once.

And two most important: SimonGray, for making ALL this possible, and reldra, for making this moment of total embarrassment possible.

And, and, and, all those I’ve yet to meet or never will,

And then there’s this guy: 3NL1GHT3N3D1

Oh lord, it's hard to say. I do a lot of lurking around here but I honestly don't know that many posters by name, I usually recognize avatars. Off the top of my head, for various reasons and in no particular order: Sled735, TrueBrit, Night Star, Phage, Slayer69, Rickymouse, Beezer, Zaphod, MystikMushroom, Unity_99, JimOberg, Sublimecraft, DreamingAwake, Kandinsky, Murgatroid. These people, whether or not I agree with them, tend to speak their minds and have intelligent / interesting posts or at least lighten the mood. Not an exclusive list of course. I've always enjoyed Phage's posts in particular because even when I'm vehemently opposed to his opinion he comes well armed with wit, sound logic, and solid facts.

I'm not much for popularity contests, but I do believe people deserve a bit of recognition for their contributions so I am okay with giving a couple shout-outs. Honorable mention goes to Astr0, he is no longer with us but his threads put me on a days-long reading spree and really put my mind to work. (Seriously - real or fake, if you're at all into UFO / secret space program content look him up, it'll twist your brain.)

My lips are hurting just looking at these 23 pages of ass kissing. Luckily I don't like anyone and vice-versa I'm sure.
