However i was never here to gain popularity .

Yes. It's a cruel joke. The link takes each member to their own profile.
I fell for it twice.

Lol, I chuckled at it the first time and never fell for it again!
Favourites are lame though, this is a debating site and it's our words which should matter...nothing else.

Oh I agree that our words are most important...but there's more here than just debating.

There is friendship, bonding, confiding, sympathizing, kinship, phone calls, e-mails, gatherings, exchanged gifts...and in some threads...lots of love!!

I bet even the most crotchety member smiles a little on the inside when they get positive interaction (whether they admit it or not). Or maybe I'm just totally naïve...still.

Your my favorite member and I was born in December.
A time to remember, last week I was almost a dismember,
Sometimes I feel like a non-member.
Were you born in November or September?
I don't know I don't remember!
Thanks friend!

Everybody smiles on the inside when they get positive interaction, and I'm one of the crotchiest members you could find.

Don't worry, I won't tell anyone.

You can continue to be all crotchety and if I meet you in a thread, I'll pretend I don't know that you're secretly smiling when I offer you a donut.

The best donuts in the UK are freshly baked in Exeter at 'Sainsbury's' a national store in Devon, England.
Filled with strawberry jam, absolutely lush, the surrounding regional stores are lame in comparison.
...I keep meaning to email their regional manager to ask what love they put in to them!

Ahh! You had me at 'strawberry jam'...*sigh*...sounds dreamy.

My parents took me back home to England when I was 9. I don't remember donuts in England.

I do remember ice cream though.
I was used to Canadian hard scoopable ice cream in various flavours, by various companies...but every where we stopped, it was Walls. Is that right? I think so.

Anyways, they were all the same everywhere and I thought it was weird. Also weird, we were there for 4 months and drove all over England. It didn't seem to matter where we were, there was always a sign pointing to "Worksop". I need to google it.
My family saying after moving back to Canada was..."All roads lead to Worksop."
