Has anyone ever watched the show "LOST"?

I just started watching it and all i can say is....WOW!

I am intrigued by everything in the show!!

Mystical island- I wonder what is the deal with that.

Mystery hatch- What is inside!?!

Miracles- John Lock was paralyzed, now he can walk?!

I cant wait to see what happens, and PLEASE NO SPOILERS!!!

It was ruined for me the minute the writers admitted they didn't know how to end it and we're making it up as they went along.

Could have been a genius story.

Instead it was question after question, cheap cliff hanger techniques and poor answers.

Yea, and It was GREAT until they kinda well, LOST IT.

After awhile, they made it too confusing and had too many loose ends.

I binge watched the whole series a few years back. I was the same as you, thought it was a great show.

Never in my life have a been so pissed off with a TV show.(except when they cancelled Fringe) The ending leaves nothing but questions and a ton of plot holes. As I was watching the last few seasons, I wanted to give up but figured they have to disclose some of the lingering questions. Nope! I probably cursed for a good straight hour when it ended.

Just thinking about it is giving me PTSD.

I watched it for awhile, not sure how many seasons, then (IMO) it started becoming too disjointed and slow to develop and I lost interest. I started watching it because a friend had mentioned it seemed there was something funky in the realm of quantum physics (or quantum sci-fi) - watched the 1st episode and was hooked. IMO, they started drifting too much into ManChest™ at times, but, Evangeline Lilly is tasty, so we'll call that a wash.

Your post made me glad I gave up on season 4.

Watched about 2 episodes and was already "lost". More questions and cliffhangers than anything else.

A couple of my friends have been huge fans, they all hated the ending.

No spoilers here but it really pissed people off expectations have not been met.

Yet there's 4 sharknado movies & Big Bang theory is one of the most popular shows of all time.

Don't get too invested into it, because come season three-ish, it gets tedious to watch, and the ending to the series is about the worst idea that you can think of.

Seriously, respond to this with the worst, most clichéd idea that you can think of to end such a mystical series, and I bet you nail it.

ok, no spoilers, no worries.

Lost is one of those shows that everyone loved initially, but as seasons go on, it weeds out people. attention spans, intelligence level, lateral thinking, etc all get challenged and loses viewership over time (plenty of people stopped watching game of thrones after a few seasons saying it got bad for instance..is it bad? well I dont think so, I think its damn brilliant)

The ending of lost is as good or as bad as your perspective really. some found it terrible, some cried and thought it was amazing..it was a near cultish mindset of go with popular opinion for how to feel about the end

people hate endings..hate hate hate endings..so just the concept that things are ending is already putting a negative tilt on something, so unless it ends giving 100% personal closure and still somehow leaving a opening for a reboot/reunion/just kidding..then there are gonna be some upset feelings

point is..go in with a open mind, and dont ask people online what they thought of a super popular and powerful show without being told how to think about endings and stuff..because for many it was like being in a intense love affair with someone that ended and now some new person is asking about that person because they just started dating.

Personally...I quite enjoyed the ending..but I am weird and like weird stuff (I also enjoyed the ending of BSG, and really enjoyed Caprica and where it was headed)

It was interesting as well as amazing cos it was unpredictable.. so unpredictable like a huge labyrinth that writers most likely couldn´t find a their way to decent ending.
Maybe because they wrote along the filming .. lost a track and IMHO they ended it just because they couldn´t keep the package together.. sadly they ruined it...

Personally i liked the show from start to end, sure there could have been few better ways to go with some stuff, specially at the last season but still it was one of the best tv shows i still today watch after few run through the whole show
Enjoy the show m8 and if u like to wonder things through over an over, dont read too much about the show just enjoy the mystery, i still have wonders about many stuff and that is great part of it.

It's my favorite show I've ever watched.

It may not be what you think but if you start a thread after you are further in I would love to discuss some of the hidden meanings.

When I have internet I'm watching it for the fifth time all seasons.

Of course it starts john Locke.. Backgammon.. 2 sides.. Black and white.. Oh gawd I just remembered so many things I can't say.. Ahh hurry up and watch all of it so I can say more.

...the ending makes perfect sense to me. I was telling people what would happen in later. I caught the quantum mechanics.
It's what I would call a Scorpio show. If you watch it just on the surface it makes less sense. There are some seasons I think 4 especially that feel blah.. Not as good. But it gets better again after that.

You have to catch the small things like recognize that book in his hand.. I own that book lol..

I endured the entire season. Started great, and then started going down. To say I was pissed at the end of it doesn't quite describe how I felt. But I was angry and felt totally ripped off.
Enjoy it while you can, sorry I can only give a less than stellar review.

Loved LOST

People will complain about the end, but the end is really good.

There's no mystery they didn't answer (although many will disagree) You just had to look hard enough.

Stick with it. Beautifully shot, amazing music, great acting, and JOHN LOCKE
