Hi, I'm Amelia
I do a lot of searching in different ways, different subjects (UFO, Ets, secret societies, channeled infos, governments, prophecies...) If you read my posts sometimes you already know it...I've search on these topics since I'm 14 because I cannot accept that we live in a world like we do now. What is the point of living if we live in money, fraud, crime, capitalism and materialism, earth disasters, fast food, and so on.....

Generaly, Why is it that everything we say about different subject is always, at the end, an Hoax...channeled info are always hoax, NWO, other planes or dimension is always hoax, Ets, greys, reptilians is always hoax...everything I say becomes "hoax" or not true and I always look like a crazy retarded for saying it might be true indeed. Why can't people search for themself before saying it's all piece of bull. SOMETHING must be true!!!! If you are on ATS, it means that you are concerned!

Why do we live like that! What is the point of being here???? People beleive in GOD but they do not want to know what IS god....an "hoax"???
People (not me) are deep into religion but they don't even know the real purpose of it!

I tell you guys that not everything is an "hoax" or disinfo, maybe that is just that people don't want to admit it.....The fact that you guys argue and loose energies on threads...you should go to the top of the problem and wonder why this is all happening

Ameliaxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Love everyone of you guys, do some searching for me at least

A very good point, i know the feeling you have. You find a intresting topic that seems logical and reasonable, but then some synical person comes around and shoots it down with other logical reasons. Nothing every seems to be true! Its a frustrating thing, but my advice to you is that truth only exists in ones mind. Search on topics yourself gain as much knowledge as you can, then come up with your own conclusion on it. Dont worry about the opinion of some 50 year old conservative, whos mind is in such a box that they can't even think of thinking outside the square.
But its nice to know there is some one else out ther with the same frustrations as me, and intrested in many of the same topics as me.
I salute you in your search for truth.

The reason why people like to throw hoax at everything is because people are drawn and controlled by the group influence. Who controls the group of people?--The Official Establishment, controlled news, etc.--This is what says is right and wrong for the majority of the population.

It's not true unless you watch it on CNN or something like that? Or, unless a scientist or Official person says it's true? That is how the majority think, yet when some person, perhaps with a brilliant mind, brings a new reality or truth the front of human awareness--The Establishment will call it a HOAX if it is a threat to the status quo, then the mass of people follow, calling it a hoax as well, without realizing that maybe the new reality is the truth.

It's really easy to see that this is the case for the majority of the population.

Ingnorance is Bliss...!

I think that some people are afraid to let go of their old perception of reality...that's what they were born into...therefore they will do whatever they can to protect that perception...they would even turn into violence...

I sure you aware of what happened in the past where people kill others in the name of God...!

Then again, since we were born into this reality...how do we know that what we are percieving is actually what it is?...Unfortunately, when of a few of people start to question reality and percieving a glimpse of what's actually there...they get label as 'Crazy', '#zfronic','Loony'...etc.

Awareness is TRUE Bliss...!

haha yes thats right, we only take in what we percieve through our senses, so if anyone was to clame they percieve more they are labeld as crazy. Ohh well if i get a third eye, i wont care if people label me as crazy, i will able to see truth for lies, light from dark. so who cares if the ignorant populace label you, you are the enlightend one!

Good points all around, but remember that there have been much in the way of dissappointment and trickery around all these subjects we love to look in to. It's easy to reap profit and gain celebrity on subjects that are officialy deniable. We all know of such cases. I'm no blind skeptic, but I think that a healthy dose of skepticism ain't a bad thing.

yes and when the flood of disinformation plagues the internet-demension it will seem as though all you once thought was true has come to a dead end. which is wrong of course, you only need to double back and take the proper direction. the golden road if you will.

Well
I have changed my mind a lot of times at the beginning....Every new information I get from a source makes me re-think the whole thing
But now, I get the big pictures, some details seems to change but I think I got the main idea of what is going on in the world.
Sure some infos are really "hoax" but I think I can now feel it if it makes sens or not. When you gather a whole lot of info, you then can make a main idea and the rest is just details

Thanks guys, I really like my thread! I never post new topics usually!

there are a lot of hoaxes out there, most people need to see it for themselves or experience it firsthand to become true believers. healthy skepticism is good, but I'm sure a lot of legit phenomena get swept aside prematurely.

If you don't have children, I hope you someday have the blessing of a child (please forgive me for being so pretentious) because then you'll never have to ask yourself "why are we here ?" or "whats it all for ?" because I've been living for my daughter since the day she was born.

ameilia, unfortunately, with every credible story you get a dozen or so off the wall stories and the random nutcase who makes ufo's in his garage and then claims he's been visited 1000 times and he's seen the future etc.

also, the many conflicting and often contradicting conspiracies make it even harder to believe in them.

I am a disbeliever in the NWO, but I love NWA. I don't believe in the illuminati, the myriad 9/11 conspiracies, chupacabra, jersey devil etc. I don't believe Billy Meyer about anything other than his shoe size. I think Titor is a hoax. I think a majority of the info out there is fabricated and a majority of the ufo sightings are made up. I do believe in life other than what's found on this orb. I do believe that we have gov't cover ups regarding ets. I do believe that we are being kept in the dark for some reason that dates back to the 40's and is probably an outdated and unnecessary reason.

I think the majority of the people on this site want to believe. otherwise they wouldn't be here. I also believe there are a few that want attention so the fabricate stories to help drag eyeballs towards them (nobody in particular).

I also think that if you look anything like your avatar I'll believe anything you tell me.

Funny. Looks like the centuries old Asian-world practice
(and Native American Indian practice) of listening to older
and wiser ELDERS has been abandoned by the youth of
today. 'Don't listen to anyone who has an opinion different
than yours because obviously they are stupid'
or
even worse 'older people are stuck in their ways and stupid'.
Every American generation is saying that, and
know what ... when those youngsters GROW UP they realize
that the older folks were usually right all along and they look back
at their fantasy thoughts during youth and just
roll their
eyes at the way they thought.

EVERY source of information teaches. To dismiss an opinion
because of age group or belief affiliation is to miss out on a
potential learning experience for yourself.

That being said ...

"Why is everything a hoax" - a hoax brings to mind a michievious
thing that was ment to deceive. Some things are hoaxes, but
many things are also not ment to be, they are well intentioned
but wrong. Just plain wrong.

And then there are those things that people THINK are wrong or
that must be hoaxes .... and they are truth.

Does your head hurt yet??? Fun huh?

The older I get, the more skeptical and cynical I become.
I question everything and everyone. I'm 'only' 42.
Wonder what I'll still believe when I'm in my 60's.

There are Misinformation and Disinformation out there...they work to counter Information...

This is an unfair battle...(2 to 1)

So TRUE information is hard to get!

Well, take the UFO field for example...

I am a fervent believer. I've seen enough, and read enough, to feel the phenomenon is genuine.

However, there are a LOT of hoaxers and pranksters in the field. Some, like the infamous Billy Meier for example, even get the backing of otherwise scholarly organizations, such as the Disclosure Project. Unfortunately, nothing damages the serious investigations in the field more than when these hoaxes come to light.

Everything ISN'T a hoax...but in many cases, the MAJORITY are. It's sad but true. For example, just the other day I came upon a post about one of the videos from UFO's The Best Evidence. Well, I knew that particular one to be debunked, and as much as I hated that it was false, it had to be pointed out....to keep it from tainting the evidence that IS good.

I am the type who reads and researches for myself. I am aware that not everything is a hoax, but there are so many hoaxes around that a large amount of time has to be dedicated to working out which is true and which is due to some imbecile playing games.

My mind is open. I read info about John Titor, Aussie Bloke, the Reptilian Agenda and then seek other sources to either verify or disprove those original sources.

I know that there are things out there that are beyond our understanding (Didn't Shakespeare say something like that ?). I also know that there are pranksters etc. My opinion is to do your own research and never assume .

Finally ...

You have voted Amelia for the Way Above Top Secret award. You have two more votes this month.

Good thread, Amelia

Thanks guys!

Listen...I'm not beleiving every fake pictures of aliens and every weird stories...
Like Pisky, I search for myself
But sometimes, completely different sources (I mean totally completely different sources) says the same thing in different words and expressions...when you see the same patern over and over again for 10 years..... you see what must be true and what's not true. Any way, I feel it.
I'm not really into those john titor time machine stuff, that is kind of "bizzarre" and looks fake you know what I mean. I'm a lot into souls, astral travel, astral planes and dimension but "time machine"...not sure

We have to see that some stuff are semi-true....we can't say that everything is crap!
But sometimes, things ARE true and we spit on it like it's total imagination, sometimes it's just too big to be true, but it is....humans don't like unknown, that scares them.

BTW, no I don't have kids, I know that when we have kids, it must gives a meaning to life...For me, it's deeper deeper than that! It's the whole meaning and the whole sens of life. Like why we humans (not me only) are on earth what is our mission? We are not here only to reproduce???!!!!
I could talk about that for hours! It's hard to explain how my curiosity and my search for the truth is deep, I never met someone like me, I'm tottally unique! hehehehehehe

Yes, I'm a good looking chick, but that does not mean people listen to what I have to say, I would seriously hope so

Not everything is hoax, but on the flip of a coin, not everything is as Hollywood as some would have you believe and then there are others who take it to the extreme and make it more Hollywood than your wildest dreams... it's swings and roundabouts - genuine people sit side by side with attention seekers, prankers & people who actually need help mentally.

That's the important part here for all of us; make up your own mind about a subject because there are no experts here - sure people might consider themselves an expert because they might know about other peoples experiences, might be able to quote everything and anything, some will even bring science into the equation and blind you with technobabble, they might have written a book, researched it for years but what it all boils down to is that no one who is involved at a national/international level with any of these unexplained things will offer any evidence, let anything slip or allow one of "us" a true insight into what's really going on.

We will continue to get dribs and drabs, disinformation and heavily edited FOI documents to feed our controlled paranoia and quest for the truth....afterall, that's all we really seek.

If the day comes when we get to know what's really happening around us, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I read somewhere that during astral travel the etheric body can actually travel through time. Not ever having performed an OBE, I can't confirm or deny this, but I would appreciate any info about it.
