I just received a strange phone call from someone I trust...
But this was strange even for them...
I was informed of a 95 year old case of a disappeared vessel reported to have vanished in the Bermuda triangle...
At first I thought I was going to told about some wreckage discovery...
He went on to tell me this story is being covered up as just that...
However he went on to tell me that a vortex was spotted in the sky visually and confirmed by radar that jets were scrambled to the location...
And then went on to tell me that the vessel appeared from within the vortex and was slowly lowered to the ocean...
The Vessel was supposedly floating when navy crews boarded and found no crew...
I don't have any other information... but like I said I trust this individual... He says the truth of this story is a cover up...
This one is strange even by my standards...

You should reframe your concept of 'trust'.
Why make a thread about this?

I am not sure radar existed 95 years ago, I think it was first used in the 1930's. I would check that factoid but I will let you do that.

Sounds a little like The USS Eldridge story.

Was your friend at the location at the time this happened and witnessed it directly or was he relaying information from something he had read?

The British had crude radar during WW2. The Technology was brought to the US after the war.

I think the O.P is referring to the vortex showing up on radar recently. That would mean the Ship that disappeared 95 years ago, has just shown up.

Exactly, doesn't fit the timeline. Neither does scrambled jets...

I'd like that explained more clearly.

The radar was from the here and now...which verified the anomaly of the vortex after visual reports of sightings in the sky...
Heh I'm having a hard time believing that but I didn't mention radar from 95 years ago...

How would your 'trusted' friend know about this? Was he part of this operation to investigate?

Yes, it wasn't clear to me that you were referring to the here and now though. I have admitted that further up the page.

No, what he's saying is that the vortex was recent and the vessel which vanished 95 years ago reappeared now with no crew.

That sounds like it although I thought the vessel had a different name...
