Both Trump and Cruz deserve to be shut down. Ridiculous, both of them.

Amazing! That's precisely how I feel about Hillary and Bernie. It's a good thing we're all entitled to our opinions.

What "amendments" are you worried about?

Shut down? Why? Because they aren't feeling the socialist Bern?

Typical leftist totalitarian communistic strategy.

You can't refute him so instead, "shut 'em down!".

They broker it and Hillary, Bernie or whomever runs when Hillary is indicted will be our next president.

Hillary won't be indicted. Why indict someone who likely has an automatic Presidential pardon sitting on Obama's desk?

Obama is silent (no Endorsement for anyone).

He will speak out when the time is right. I think he is the better judge of when that will be. It's not necessary now. He, like me, will support whoever the nominee is. Who will inevitably be the next President.

I'll drink to that!

I think I will have a coffee outside and ask myself, how can someone so brilliant be such a dumbass?

Drinks on the house!

Why speak out at all; he is the most inconsequential President ever voted into office; I am certain he has his college basketball picks for the final four (just try prying him away from ESPN or the Golf Course).

He has made some achievements despite the pathetic excuse of a congress he's had to deal with.

Now this CONGRESS. Wow. That's one for the history books. Kids will say, hey, wasn't your granddad a Congressman while Obama was in office? (while laughing), and the kid will say "Hell no". My granddad was a janitor in the Oval Office.
hehe.

Shame shame shame on them all.

I do not know; dumb dumb's apparently voted this 'genius' into office 7 years running now; hired the worst Secretary of State EVER now running for his office. I understand your frustration with Congress; not the best behaved. Could you afford "Crystal; Floures de lei" the entire bubbly bottle please.
edit on 23-3-2016 by vethumanbeing because: (no reason given)

I'm rather sure I could. : )

Goodbye.

Why?

Because you disagree with them?

Well I disagree with Bernie and Clinton, should they be shut down? Or just me?

Following that line of reasoning, according to me, all of 'em should be shut down. For the crime of not kowtowing to me.

No one is forcing you to vote for 'em.

Hmmm...

Maybe, but a natural born leader should be able to draw people in even if they don't agree with him/her on every issue.

Should he not?

But I see your point.

Not much apparent support for Cruz. I find that surprising.

The U.S. is sorely in need of regaining credibility. At least at the political level.

Astute negotiations that favor the U.S., itself, as opposed to vested interests. Militarily in the context of meeting it's commitments and honoring it's line in the sand statements...or don't make them at all.

Trump is in the process of re-establishing that credibility. First, slowly for himself and ,concurrently, for the U.S..

No credibility and negotiations are a waste of time.....

Wife is watching Jimmy Kimmel's TV show tonight. That silly segment where a loud "BEEP!!" is inserted to blot out curse words. Wifey gets upset cause I always change the channel when that childish/annoying beeping starts.

TRUMP's Federal Communications Commission would allow the curse words to be spoken...no stupid "BEEP!" in their place.

CRUZ's FCC would likely keep things as they are now...or maybe even ban material that implies profanity or obscenity.

On that subject, Trump over Cruz for me.

I am sure you are aware the FCC is an independent agency that has a 5 member commission from both parties that does not answer to the President. Much like the President can not build a wall (Congress would have to do that) nor ban Muslims because the Courts would not allow it, he can not tell the FCC what to do.

Awww..that's too bad. In that case, I'll have continue boycotting Jimmy Kimmel until he grows up, or Trump gets the government rearranged.. whichever comes first.

Bah, who appoints those members???

The 'wall' has already been approved...and started...even under Obama portions were built. Mexico has one at it's southern border with Guatemala and Europe is building walls a mile a minute with their refugee issues...

The President does have the power to direct the operation of the bureaucracy of which the FCC is part. He also can recommend budgets. Obama's budgets get laughed out of Congress on a bipartisan basis, but if Congress gets serious about cutting the budget and Trump steps in with a CEO's eye, the bureaucracy could receive some serious downsizing.

Assuming Republicans retain control and are at all serious about saving money, that could get interesting.
