Brexit. Europe is weaker without the UK and if democracy prevails, we will be pulling out around that time. We shall of course, be taking our money with us; fewer freebies available for the incomers.

War-mongering, poking the Bear to religious war.

If Europe is over-run, who has the will to aid her? America? Not until a lot of money has been made. UK? Seems unlikely at this stage but there will be those that call for ridding the world of Islamic tyranny. The Commonwealth? Unlikely to stake a commitment before the UK takes a lead. India? Not enough Sikhs to sway the vote. China? Will do business with any Occidental but only once the dust has settled. Only Orthodox Russia is likely to step up to aid Catholic and Protestant Europe.

Erdogan's agenda is the Caliphat and no amount of worldly speculation or wisdom will thwart him.

Yes. I really feel bad for Europe. Such poor leadership, and America is so corrupt. It looks like the Age of the West is coming to its close.

Erdogan wants his Caliphate indeed, but I suspect it will start off Islamic for 3.5 years, and the become Judeo-Chrislamic once the Mahdi (Apollyon) comes.

Today in Rome they are celebrating the 60 years of the EU since the signing of the treaty of Rome. According to reality though it looks more like they are celebrating delusion. Brexit is the first exit... not the last!

I think you've got that mixed up. Muslims believe they and the Romans would conquer Constantinople. As strange as it sounds, Muslim prophecy foretells of an alliance between Muslims and Christians in the future.

The Romans are not the Italians, but the eastern part of the Roman empire, the Byzantine empire that some islamic scholars have connected with Russia.

EDIT - In other words, Russia and some Muslim allies will invade Turkey and take over Constantinople (Istanbul)

Or perhaps the whole thing is about the Russian army and their Muslim units attacking Turkey.
