How much does it or has it cost you to be a member here at ATS?

Man learn to read and comprehend not only one post but try to remember what the one said you try to talk down.

I donated.
I am willing to pay a monthly fee.

But not for the "product" ATS is now. Got it now?

Edit: I also provided free coding help to ATS.
So what are you trying to say about me here?
That I´m whining around? Then you get the wrong impression.

The only thing that pisses me off currently is when people like you put words in my mouth.
Way to go

If things piss you off that much about ATS where you can't stand the site, bugs, errors, staff, owners, members, money being made or not the log out button is easy to use. And you never have to return and surround yourself with such absolute misery and chaos.

My whole point was about the bugs and then some thoughts on financial decicions. Never ever did I complain about
mods, members, the site iself or all the other things your are trying to put in my mouth.

I hope you understand what you did.
www.abovetopsecret.com...

And finally, I have no problem spending 12$ a year if, yeah if (but never will happen as of how it looks now) the site is as usable as any comparable other website, when it comes to nasty bugs.

My apologies if I miss read or understood your content.

It's wonderful you offer free coding and thanks! I'm sure lots of people do free things here on ATS. Like the Mods, Staff and members.

You aren't the only one.

People bring stories here and spend hours and hours on content. Guess what they get paid?

It's about a group effort. Yea there is going to be bugs, bad content, fights, arguments and more, but in the end it costs nothing to contribute.

But coming on here and bitching about small things is it helpful or destructive?

My own quote in case you missed it.

Im not even "bitching" that bugs are there. That´s what you don´t understand. Errors happen. What I do not understand is that there are important bugs to fix but rather than doing that (with solutions on hand), 7 months after providing the solutions, they start to mess around with the design, as looks would be more important then function.

Of course the owners can decide to go full payment memberships. I´m ok with that. My mere concerns are for the good of ATS if you would try to understand me. You can´t sell an unfinished buggy product to someone. And that´s not only me complaining about if you had read the thread, at least four other peoples expressed their concerns that nothing is ever fixed. They only intruduce new half baked stuff. Main thing it works half way, on to the next task. That shows how the "developer" of this site works. And that alone tells you many things about a person.

Had you not added the last line, I would be totally fine with your post.

I keep following these various threads as they pop up and i never hear anyone ask why they decided to start this ad block assualt on the very same day as dozens of other websites across the web. id like to know who is pushing this agenda behind the scenes and why ATS is willing to go along with it. i know it means more money for them but it cant just be a coincidence that this came down the pipe at the same time.

More people than you think noticed. I highlighted your post on the other thread/or page where you first said that.
Also on other places, people start to ask ;-)

as long as the content remains free there is no harm in offering a paid for no advert option. As soon as the content is not free this is when the site will die. i think the owners are clever enough to understand this.

been coming to ATS for years and will continue to do so. I'm more of a watcher than a contributor............

We are literally their business and provide them with their product. They simply setup a market (ok not simply) and are now asking for us to be monetary investors.

I am not impressed by any of this. I know, everybody wants to make some money. Why not ATS?
But I don't need ATS. And if they don't want me to use add Blockers than I don't use ATS.

It's as simple as that.

If this site did go pay to Post!
then it will die!

One thing that I can tell folks is that those internet "net worth of individual or entity " sites are grossly off on their speculations.

I used to work as a bookkeeper for a few celebrities. One day I went to one of those websites and looked up a client. (no I won't say which one) and it said he had a net worth of 2.5 million. I know exactly what his net worth was at the time including all of his assets and it was 1/5th of what they estimated.

So I wouldn't take everything you read off the internet as accurate when it comes to worth of an entity.

So the person had around 166.666,66 $.

Or 37.500.000,00, depending how to understand that sentence
