I think some industry should be LOOKED into being socialist, such as healthcare because conflict of interest and such a high dissatisfaction with the industry.
We could easily pay for healthcare, but we have to re-prioritize. Defense and security must be pulled-back considerably and we do have to address waste in government.

Rubio saying someone repeats themselves... hypocrisy.
That was the point! Must have went over your head.
Rubio is beating Trump at his own game. That is the only way to beat Trump. Rubio has been impressive all night and dominating this debate.
I wouldn't go that far, but at least they are keeping their powder dry against each other and focusing on Trump.
I'd like to hear more from Carson, he seems to be keeping the higher ground and staying out of the mud.
Seriously? Carson is a joke. Neither he nor Kasich has a chance. That's just reality. This is a three person race between Trump, Rubio, and Cruz. Rubio has been the clear winner of this debate so far.
I didn't say Carson was going to win. I said I admire that he is taking the higher ground, and I wish that the others would try to emulate that.

Exactly, I must say you surprised me with your reply. I was certain you were going to attack me for using the 'S' word, LOL
Which one is a federal responsibility, and which one is not?

This whole debate appears to have been an ambush on Trump as far as I'm concerned.

Defense of the Country is not a private good or service, therefore funding the military is not socialism.

Good question. That all depends on constitutional interpretation.
Defense is a responsibility of the federal government. Healthcare is not. But that does not mean that the people cannot create a central program to administrate a universal healthcare system.

By definition, it is.
The military is a government-controlled entity that provides a service that benefits each and every citizen, and it is done by spending their collective wealth in the form of taxes.

Yep.
CNN appears to be doing the will of the GOP establishment.
That throws a wrench in the idea that CNN and the others are Left Wing media stooges.

You have a skewed definition of socialism that seems geared to say anything you want is socialism.
Socialism is the public control over distribution of private goods and services. Military Defense is not a private good or service.
Socialism:
a way of organizing a society in which major industries are owned and controlled by the government rather than by individual people and companies
