the labels you use are coming from a different Religion that these people don't even follow. It would be like accusing Hindu's of following the wrong Gods because the Buddhists are saying Vishnu is evil or something. It only looks that way from some other religion

It's true though that the way Christians view Satan isn't the same as how Satanists view Satan.

Well, I'm not talking about judging religion. What I'm saying is that using one religion to define something without considering how another definition defines that same something will leave you without a true definition possibly.

In this case we're talking about Satan. Christianity defines Satan one way while Satanists define Satan completely differently.

For example, some Satanists don't believe in a deity named Satan at all. They are just hedonists basically and don't worship any gods at all. Other Satanists think of Satan as just a symbolic idea. They don't believe in the anthropomorphic being named Satan. He just represents certain ideas and stuff but they don't pray to him or anything because they don't believe anyone is listening. Then some other Satanists actually believe in Satan the same way Christians believe in God.

So basically what I'm saying is that if you want to know what Satanists believe you should see what they have to say about it. Don't just listen to Christians about it because they'll tell you what they believe satanists believe not what Satanists may actually believe.

That would be like asking a Mormon what Buddhists believe or something like that. Why not just ask a person of that religion instead of some other religion??

You know the deal. If it is anti-Yashua it is cool now right? We can call anything evil "good" now and everything good and just "evil".

I know exactly what Satan represents and it is reprehensible. Sugar coating it may fool idiots but in this day and age I am sure there are plenty of those who will follow.

How do you know what Satan is about??? Because Christianity told you.

That's your source and only source.

Since Christianity is against Satan it is also therefore going to be against Satanism.

Have you ever bothered to even ask a Satanist what they believe or what Satanism is to them???

BTW, I'm not trying to convince anyone Satanism is good or anything else. I'm just telling you what I've heard from various Satanists when they speak about Satanism.

Whether or not you want to believe them is up to you. But to ask Christians about what Satanism is all about rather than asking a Satanist is no different than asking a Satanist about what Christianity is all about.

Why would you trust someone who isn't even part of a certain religion about that religion instead of asking someone who is part of it???

I wouldn't trust anyone based on them being devout "anything".

In fact the more devout they are, the more inclined I would be to doubt what they're telling me. A healthy amount of skepticism and independent thought should be part of everyone's life. Too much devotion to anything kills those things.

Yeah, fair enough - I wasn't comfortable typing that word either. But as an atheist, I'd still trust a satanist over a [insert your favorite or unfavorite religion here].
