I'll be starting to look at these in a bit.
But just a reminded.
Anything in the middle will likely never be seen.
Keep in mind that the body of the website will mostly cover what's in the middle, with the exception of any minor transparent areas -- as seen on the
new site and forum home pages.
Also, some of these have a visual complexity that will make compression down to a reasonable filed sized JPEG difficult. While
the off the grid image is fantastic (for example), it's going to be 180k
even at a setting of 10% JPEG quality -- mostly because of the complexity of the stars.
And this one:
I can get to 72k, at 25% quality because of the lack of complexity. But that great iconic image would be lost in the middle.
Hopefully these are layered Photoshop files, and you can move the elements around, and simplify the backgrounds.
A quick rough modification shows what I mean...
And it's only 82k in file size.
